Nathan Fillion Wants to Be Nathan Drake

I think Nathan Fillion would be awesome as Drake! They also wouldn't need to call him anything other than his real name so there would be no confusion on the set (or there would be more confusion..hmmm)

Erm, no? Why would I want this guy when Nolan North is still available? From my understanding after interviews and stuff with the voice cast of the Uncharted games, a lot of the best lines from Drake in the games comes from North just deciding to improvise or throw something extra in there.

Plus North also already looks a hell of a lot like Drake in his own right. Sorry Mr. Fillion, you do not get my vote, and this time it's not just because I don't have Twitter.

I'm going to go against the grain and say no. I don't want Nathan Fillion to be Drake.

I want Nathan Drake to be played by Stargate Atlantis' Joe Flannigan. He isn't in enough things and is perfect playing the hero adventure loving type, but also the more serious moments. When he scaled the side of Atlantis in Season 4's "Quarantine" I immediately thought of all those wall climbing platforming sections. I love Nathan Fillion, but Flannigan is even better. Plus he really wants to do it too. Claudia Black could reprise her role as well and then that would be AWESOME!

This could work too.

Obvious solution is to splice all their genes together. IT MUST BE DONE.

Honestly, I'm rather torn between either Fillion or Flannigan being Nathan Drake. Both of them could really pull it off. I just don't know who to pick! D:

Nooooooooo! Am I seriously the only person who can't stand that man?! Now I am aware that Nathan Drake is a bit of an annoying prick, which suits Fillion just fine as that's the only character he can play but I just don't think I'll be able to actually watch it if he's in it.
If anyone, why not Nolan North? He did the motion capture for Drake as well as the voice, why isn't he perfect?

Castle is ok for you standard police procedural, and that worm movie he was in was good for a bit of theatrical fluff, but it seems like everyone on the internet is making him out to be the second coming of Humphrey Bogart.

This is cool, when i playe dthe Uncharted demo years ago I actually Thought Nathan Drake WAS Nathan Fillion. I was really surprised when he wasn't doing the voice, they Look alike, they act similar (Mal and Drake) So I am onboard for this.

Only started playing the actual game Yesterday (was playing demo on Firends PS3 and been catching up since I got access to one of my own). Having great fun so far although after playing Mafia Ii on PC I really could do with some auto aim!

But I'm 100% happy if Fillion wants to fill in.
