So, recently, I've been thinking of this commercial I saw when I was younger. It was a easy bake oven sort of thing for boys. It was creepy crawlies, but the one I remember best was one with a mad scientist and you'd make jelly brains with.

Please help, it's been bugging me for awhile now.

You're thinking of the Doctor Dreadful Food Labs.

I had one when I was kid, never worked out as well as I wanted it to :D

Damn... you sir ninja'd me!

They really did suck... I can't beleive I actually made stuff that looked like that AND actually ingested it!

Maybe that is why we are like we are today...

Should have just stuck to this fella:

Much safer...

:( That I think we are...

Although I have a feeling that they are actually far older than us... I do remember the ads during every saturday morning cartoon though!

If you have a spare drive slot in your PC, you can replicate the horrible cooking at your desk.

I'm actually half tempted to order one for myself. I've got room for four more optical drives in my tower, and already have a DVD and Blu-Ray drive, so no real use for the slots. May as well make myself some cookies.

That's brilliant. And a little weird.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I keep thinking I'm gonna get one and use it with my girls kid but honestly, I want it for myself lol.

How about the old game where you apparently feed a drive-in food stand that has a big head and whomever it "throws-up" on is the loser. For the life of me I can't remember what it was called but I had one and loved every second that I did.

I really hated that toy, it's commercial, and the idea. o_o

I just wanted to make some freakin cookies but they kept advertising easy bake ovens to girls and gave boys mad scientist and gross out products. =_=

It's funny, my sister and I were just having this commercial the other day, since apparently easy bake got sued and had to end up advertising it in a unisex fashion.

Mr Frosty he's such fun, frozen treats for EVERYone! Aaah, the jingles they burn!

I remember my brother had one of those creepy crawly things but it wasn't for edible stuff but sort of rubber toy scorpions etc. It was practically lethal because you needed to connect a heated plate to the mains to set the rubber/whatever but it didn't have any kind of safety features to stop you touching the heated metal or napalm like rubber. My parents only threw it out after about half a dozen trips to A&E. Luckily we had a Mr.Frosty too, so slushies for everyone!

I was going to say Creepy Crawlers until you mentioned the jelly brains part. Insanely enough I actually had one of those. Creepy Crawlers I mean.

Man I always wanted that stupid doctor dreadful thing but it grossed my mom out so she never got it for me and by the time I was old enough to have my own spending money I had moved on to other interests.

....Now I kind of want to get it though but how bad is it? Like, inedible bad or "You can eat it but you'll wish you didn't" bad?
