Need some good, slow metal songs.

Okay so I'm going to be learning some songs for my exams next year and i was wondering do any of the guitar playing metal heads know any good songs similar to these:


I've just been enthralled with weakness and I'm just looking for some similar, easy songs with some good guitar parts.

yeah. i love metal! the power-ballad style isn't really my thing though, so i'm trying to kick out anything that comes to mind. like i'd love to mention a specific song from The Human Abstract but they don't really have anything in that style. same for Evergreen Terrace, Dragonforce, etc... try some Avenged Sevenfold, Helmet, Meshuggah, or at a longshot perhaps even some Soilwork.

for sure check out a bunch of stuff from ISIS, some of Kamelot, and perhaps a little of Becoming The Archetype?

I actually just got 3 ISIS albums so I'm gonna listen to all their stuff. i like soilwork so I'll have a look at them too. Problem with Meshuggah is that they use 8 string guitars.

last thing just came to mind. Stabbing Westward, they have some great stuff as does Filter... if all else fails tap into some Ra or even some Ataru.
