Need Some New Horror Books.....?

I recently finished reading all of Darren Shan and am looking for some new horror under the same sort of style,i also have the zombie survival guide and world war Z, both of which i liked, so my question is this: can you lovely escapists recommend me some decent horror books?

Yeah I think I saw at barns and nobles just a week ago. Hmm, and I remember there was a way to avoid being mind scrubbed.

then get some Clive Barker, he's freaking awesome author. one of those that could write anything and it would be good. he mostly does horror and/or fantasy.

If you liked the zombie survival guide and world war Z, I highly recommend 'The Rising' and it's sequel 'City of the Dead' by Brian Keene.

I mean, I can take a lot of gore, but these books almost made me lose my lunch. (in retrospect, I shouldn't have read while on a bus, but my point still stands)

As for some psychological horror, why not read 'The Long Walk' by Stephen King writing as Richard Bachman? It's one of my favourite books ever.

You should definatly read some lovecraft. one of my fave genres, he is probably the best

cheers for the suggestions guys, i will see if my library has any clive barker, and i will also try to obtain the rising and city of the dead
