You do realize that movie was based on bullshit right? it never happened like that. it wasnt 300 and it def wasnt vs 300,000. There were Thespians and greek volunteers. so it was closer to 2,000 total. so 2,000 and they killed around 20,000 before they died. so each killed about 10 before dying. not 100THEMILKMAN said:I'll start.
What was the average Kill/Death Ratio of the 300 Spartans?
Obviously the deaths will be 1 but what about the kills?
Now present nerdy facts, questions and answers to other's nerdy questions (if you got them).
That makes sense, thanks for the info.Angryman101 said:The fact that it was a quote from Sir Isaac Newton (my favorite mathematician) would make sense due to another piece of insightful nerd trivia: he was in charge of the imperial Mint of Britain, which meant he was in charge of calculating how much money should be printed every year for the English empire (UK, the New World, and English holdings in Asia.).Agro9 said:I have never seen a £2 coin but I assume it comes from a quote of Sir Isaac Newton as he said: "If I have been able to see further, it was only because I stood on the shoulders of giants." Is that right?Kushin said:The writing on the edge of a £2 Coin says 'Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants'
This comes from a small biography on the man I read many years ago, so I think some of my details may be off.

Jaghatai Khan
Horus
Alpharius

Obviously I can also name their Legions.
Yes it is. Have a cookie.EDIT: Oh. and the night haunters real name is Konrad Curze
Actually that's not exactly right. 12 parsecs equals out to about 39.1 light-years. The figure of 12 parsecs is more likely a total of the distance traveled in relation to all black holes. Meaning the closest possible course to a straight line while navigating an obstacle course of black holes would be less then one that had to make huge allowances for each and end up being a much more indirect route.andrat said:Jeeze. Now this makes sense.xplay3r said:Well that's kind of a trap because if you know the answer is 42 that makes you a nerd....damn it i'm a nerd loldeadlyric said:
OP: Han Solo says "it's the ship that made the kessle run in less than 12 parsects" Parsects are a measure of distance, however, this DOES make sence.
The Kessle Run is a series of black holes, because the closer you get to a black hole, the more the gravitational pull, so the faster your ship, the closer you can get to the black holes.
Therfore making it in 12 parsects means the ship is so fast, he can travel within twelve parsects of a black hole, and not get sucked in.
...you're welcome...
