Halo-The forunners, the super advanced race that came before humanity/the covenant, were themselves enlightenned and advanced by another super-race, the precursors.

Warhammer 40k-The 3 original Chaos Gods, were actualy created a long legnth of time AFTER the Eldar, the Necrons, and the Orks.

Warhammer 40k-The Orks reproduce by realeasing spores throughout their lives. That is why many previously "Cleared" areas will suddenly sprout Orc populations.

Warhammer 40k-Humanity, at one point, had three classes of society:The Golden Men, The Iron Men, and The Stone Men. One of these classes(I believe the Iron Men) was a group of super advanced AI's that eventualy rebelled from the Golden Men's control. This lead to a catastrophic war between the the machines and the people, wiping out over half of the human population. That is why, thousands of years later, humanity still has a crushing fear of artificial intelligence(Note-I am not 100% positive on this statement so if somebody could varify it for me I would appreciate it.)

I'm not 100% certain on this, but I believe the game in question was Pong.

Also, Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, which states the at the quantum level, there is an inverse relationship between how well you can know a particle's position and momentum, also applies for energy and time. That's right. If you know how energetic a particle the size of an electron is, you can't say with any degree of accuracy when it is. (Well, how long it will exist, really.)

Nerdiest fact: The most commonly misquoted movie line of all time is "Luke, I am your father." The accurate quote is "No. I am your father."

Nerdiest question: "Who's better, Picard or... uh... the other guy (my answer is Picard, never cared about Shatner's char.)

Nerdiest answer: Well, you probably guessed it. My nerdiest answer is "Picard."

I'll start.

What was the average Kill/Death Ratio of the 300 Spartans?

Obviously the deaths will be 1 but what about the kills?

Now present nerdy facts, questions and answers to other's nerdy questions (if you got them).
Actually all but 1 Spartan of the original 300 died.
But there was actually 302 Spartans Leonidas's 300 'bodyguards' the Captain guy and Leonidas.
Be that as it may, all died aside from the captain. So 301 spartans died in the movie.
The fact of the matter is, the AVERAGE death count still rounds out to 1.
For sake of argument I agree with you. I do find it a bit depressing that I explained how to acheive Interuniversal travel, though I left out some peices, and this is the only hit I get. About the movie 300. Damn. Does anyone find this a little disterbing? Hell I didn't even get a guy telling me I was full of shit! Kinda pissess me off.

as far as i remember the P.A.'s were always attached to the end of the episode. you are correct i don't believe it was ever said in the context of the episode.. but it was said in most every show at the end.

Damn you, I was going to say that!

Ok, the line "Luke I am your father." was never said in Star Wars either. In fact I can recite that entire exchange from Empire Strikes Back
Vader: "Did Obi-won ever tell you what happened to your father?"
Luke: "Yes, he told me you killed him."
Vader: "No, I am your father."
Luke: "NOOOOOOOOO!"
