Hey guys, since we're making threads I'll throw one into the effort to cleanse the first page of shitstorms in order to have something else to talk about finally.
So, we have a website here with a lot going on but what are we lacking?
What would we, the community, like to see hosted here weekly?
We've got ZP, lot's of stuff from Jim, Bob and LRR and I do enjoy them a lot. We've got Critical Miss and plenty of articles. We've even had one of our own, [user]MiracleofSound[/user], get picked up and become a part of the content here! There's always room for more though, we have to narrow it down. If we don't know what we want, the guys who have the money won't know what we'll watch or view. Let's try not to multiply what we have already by too much though.
So, let's have some suggestions. I've got a few things from the past that form my opinion.
Remember Apocalypse Lane? Wouldn't it be cool to have an animation like that running again? Not the same story of course or even the same creators (though to have those guys back would be great) but something ongoing that will throw us for a loop. We don't have to expect top notch animation, Apocalypse Lane was simply animated but it didn't detract from it too much, I would just like an animated series with a fun story to pass the time with.
Heck, give us badges for watching it. Everyone likes badges! =P
Or another webcomic. I remember Name Game having some heart and while I like Fraught with Peril, it doesn't do arcs. It was nice to have a regular cast of characters to watch and to have something contrasting with Grey and Cory. I dunno, I'm just spitballing here now. Another There Will Be Brawl would be great too but I'm pretty sure that was a lightning in a bottle kind of thing. It is still my favorite series here to date.
That's just me though. What would you guys like to see? Throw anything out there. If something gets enough traction here, we might be able to petition for it to be made here. Who knows?
