I think what could work is if, in addition to what was said in the video, players had a larger points total to draw from the longer they'd been playing, like the system used in online poker. When you fight with, say, a 1500 point army you are effectively 'wagering' it against your opponents. This would mean that longer-term players could take part in more apocalyptic games, adding a brilliant incentive to continue playing. It would still have to be set up so that you would almost certainly get more points from playing and losing than from not playing at all, as you wouldn't want to lose less capable players.
On the contrary, I was offered a Youtube partnership for a video with barely 10,000 views.Matthew94 said:They won't get money from ads unless they get a Partner Account. They won't get that unless they consistantly pull in thousands of viewers and for an account with 1 video that is still a while off.The Lunatic said:Youtube ads, they're getting paid.Stilkon said:Well, shit.
I'm not too familiar with IP or copyright laws (read: "not at all"), but since they're not getting paid for it, I think they'll be safe.
