The second episode? Leela bones Zapp... with zero hesitation... in front of Fry...

It only took two episodes for them to hit the low point of the entire fucking series. Grats.

I thought it was good. It was funny and as such, I enjoyed it.

It's hit and miss but that's what I was expecting. The original series was hilarious, and this one has a lot to live up to so I think you've got to give it some leeway. But yeah, the second episode was a bit odd. Also, what was funny at the end of Season 4 was Fry's constant attempts to wow Leela which...obviously isn't needed now.
It's the same with the Simpsons. The new episodes are so iffy - some are good but some are just like...what?

Nono, she already knew she was on earth and everything was fine. The V-Giny (haha!) thing forced her to do it. "oh look, Adam and Eve, let's watch them have sex!"
Yes, that ending was odd and quite frankly I don't like it at all.

But then again I think it's too soon to judge the new series just by the first two episodes. Seriously, take your time and wait for a few more before you dismiss it. Or at least stop watching and ranting about it, if you prefer that way.

I enjoyed both of the new episodes. I wasn't really bent out of shape about the two animated characters having pretend sex to save the pretend world in sake of comedy and the end of the episode...

Didn't have a problem with the episodes myself. You just knew a Zap heavy storyline would never show him in a positive light but not matter what he'd still somehow come out on top. Par for the course, really, though maybe another last second twist would of been nice.
