Jesus people, stop mocking America. You really think they wont rise a question from this? Just wait and see. Soon hundreds of americans will march on the streets and show to the goverment that they are just being misunderstood. There is no need for goverment to be afraid of its own citizens and mark them as terrorist.

You'll see!

"pretty f**kin' funny."

classy as hell. seriously, this guy won the thread before there even was one. he´s goig to be a great Bruce Banner/Hulk. The fact that he stands for what he believes just made me into a fan.

USA´s activist witch hunt is becoming ridiculous

The terrorists must be celebrating, they don't even have to do anything any more, we just tear ourselves apart from the inside.

To me the only sensible reaction to terrorism is to almost ignore, take some sensible safety precautions of course, but don't overstep into paranoia, as if they want to blow stuff up, they'll find a way.

Just carry on with life *BOOM* carry on... and watch their infuriated faces as we fail to care about what they do.

I know that's easy to say as someone who hasn't lost anyone in a terrorist attack, but really, they're after attention and reactions is all, the more we react the more they'll blow stuff up.

We certainly don't need actors on terror lists, and I personally think it's another case of the terror laws being abused for other purposes.

Just as they use terrorism laws to deal with peaceful protests in the UK now.

*Mark Ruffalo meets Yusuf Islam in a jail cell*

Mark: What're you in for?
Yusuf: My name...oh, and I made a comment about Salmon Rushdie about a decade ago. You?
Mark: I don't like natural gas drilling.
Yusuf: Oh. So when are they going to put Angelina Jolie in here for 'buying foreign terrorist babies?'

To all Americans here...

Do you realise that your entire corrupt and fascist power structure is making the rest of the world HATE you. :/

YOU have become the world's demons.. not communism, socialism or even the so called 'terrorist' threat.
And the rest of the world is perfect. Thank you for your enlightening message.
But the rest of the world doesn't flagwave and claim to be the 'light of right' the way you do.
That's more due to the fact that they're not in the hyperpower status that the United States has. Don't assume that the rest of the world is somehow nowhere near as nationalist as the United States is, any country in the position America is now would abuse it (as history has clearly shown). Do some research, your own stereotyping doesn't help you back up your claims.

You have to start doing something.
please stop with all the anti America trolling on this site.
It bothers me to think that people with no connections to the USA, and knows nothing about how the government works would post such a harsh unjust comment on a article about Mark Ruffalo

I don't see where in any story on this it actually says what the sources is for this. What verifiable evidence does the magazine have? The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Homeland Security is saying he isn't on the list? Who is telling the truth? I want to see the evidence. Give me the original sources. I don't trust any of them any more. The journalists lie and the government lies, who are we to trust?

This probably way too late to say this, but here I go anyway. I'm in PA, and our local paper covered this when the original story broke.

The PA state government was paying a private, joint US / Israeli "private security contractor" to help it handle possible terror threats. This company (can't remember the name) went crazy, putting every activist in the state and beyond, basically, on a "possible threat" list, and handed it to the government, suggesting they arrest and beat everyone.

State law enforcement KNEW it was bullshit the day they got it, and basically tossed it onto the Yeah, Okay, Whatever pile. The problem was, as usual, the public was not made aware that all sorts of Quaker peace activists and 85 yr old conservationists were on the list. When local journalists found out about it, it was a huge embarrassment for the state. But they immediately admitted that they'd never added anyone from the reports to their lists, and considered the whole thing a giant waste of money.

The private company in question is about as underhanded and creepy as they come, and clearly has ties to the oil and gas industry, because like 80% of the people on their list were people like Mark Ruffalo who oppose the drilling that these companies are currently trying to get contracts to do in the state. There was another story about how these companies were given these lists by this creepy PSC, though they apparently didn't know what the hell they were supposed to do with them, so gave them to law enforcement, who promptly ignored them again.

PA isn't a police state. But is a state run by very stupid people who contract petty fascists to make lists of undesirables. The people who actually handle security - the cops - have become very savvy about ignoring the nonsense. My sister works for them. The stories, man...

Here's a link to a story about the crap when it first hit the fan back in September.

That makes a lot more sense. Sounds like the Commonwealth I know. I don't get the local news since I moved away.

Wow, I can't believe you guys are perpetuating this story.
http://insidemovies.ew.com/2010/11/29/mark-ruffalo-gq-watch-list/

Mark is "CLAIMING" he is being persecuted for speaking out and that he has been put on a terror watch list.

"...a spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Office of Homeland Security denied that the actor had ever been included on any list, or that any such list existed. A call to Ruffalo?s representative requesting comment or clarification was not immediately returned.?

The survey says: Mark = Cuckoo.
