Not sure how far the news has spread, but Disney had a show today that dedicated some time for Kingdom Hearts 3. What was shown? Not much, but we do have another world confirmed as this man (who looks eerily like Master Xehanort) explains.

Big Hero 6!

Unfortunately no gameplay (only this video and concept art [http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--gLSD5MrY--/1388410743272753445.jpg]) and very minimal information on the plot, but it seems like it could be a good fit into the KH canon. I also really need to watch that movie.

Perhaps not what people wanted when they asked for Marvel, but ah well.

Eh I would prefer if they stuck to the Disney classics.
To be fair, most of them have already been covered several times over. It's nice to see them breaking new ground, and not repeating the same bloody stories.

Personally, I wouldn't mind having the Emperors New Groove in there somewhere. It'd be a great change of pace, even if Eartha Kitt can't be involved (RIP).

This doesn't supried me really, I'm expecting them to shoehorn in Frozen into the game somehow.

That has to be deliberate. Like they specifically chose the employee with the closest resemblance to speak.

Was hoping for Gargoyles, but that was just a fool's hope. Probably sticking to new franchises like BH6 and Frozen, and maybe Princess and the Frog?

Ya, that's kind of how I feel too. It's not wrong to want them to stick to the long-beloved classics. It's part of what made the series fun. However, they've more or less run out of material (at least to fill a whole game/series). Olympus has literally been in every KH game except 3D, with Halloween Town and Agrabah almost as much. Already done most of the Disney Renaissance (hell, most of their major 90s stuff minus Pocahontas), a few of the iconic older classics (like Snow White, Fantasia, Alice in Wonderland, and Sleeping Beauty), so they have to dip their beaks into the Pixar/Marvel/Lucas pile, choose the newer movies, live action, or sequels, create more exclusive worlds, or stop (which may not be a bad thing after KH3). Apparently they wanted to include a lot of newer worlds in this game.

And a TENG world would be great btw. Love that movie.

Might be true lol. They did comment on Master Xehanort in the Tangled reveal, though at the very least he's somewhat relevant. He was the producer of both of these movies.

I would be very surprised if no Frozen (considering how popular it is in both Japan and the USA), though they do need Princess and the Frog. Dr. Facilier is perhaps the best Disney villain of the last decade, and a great fit for KH considering the heartless and whatnot.

Emperor's gets a pass for being late-period Disney Renaissance and also being 2D. Big Hero 6 is just too soon, too unlike other movies and feels like a cash grab, as Caribbean did in KH2. There're plenty of other better, more "in tune" movies. Jungle Book, Mouse Detective, Cauldron, Oliver...

Glad to know they're going for new worlds and not just allowing Tangled to be a token "See, we have new worlds too". Now I'm hoping it isn't just these two worlds...

Big Hero 6 may not have been my first choice though. Still hoping for Princess & the Frog, The Black Cauldron and (yes) Frozen.
