new some help with saints row 2... (technical issue)

I just bought the game to play with one of my friends who rebought it. He has the dlc and I dont. We cant play together cause he has it. Even if he deletes it off of his harddrive he still cant play. Is there anyway to get around it?

Yes, buy the DLC.

Unfortunate, really, but I think that's the only way you two will play together.

Err, actually no.
Your friend can delete the DLC, AND start a new character. That works.

I stand corrected. I was always the guy who had the DLC while others had problems joining me. Welcome to the Escapist.
