Legion of the Damned.

My face lit up when I found this article earlier. I wonder how they will implement that. As you can recruit Legion of the Damned troops for both Imperial and Traitor forces in the tabletop game.
As of Fifth Edition, Legion of the Damned became an Elites Choice SOLELY for the Vanilla Space Marines only. Not sure what edition your thinking of there.[footnote]If you want to rage at someone, rage at Matthew Ward, not me.[/footnote]

So anyways, this is good...but when are they going to release out the other Bonus Skins, like the Space Wolves and Iron Warriors? Or for that matter, unlock the Game on Steam for UK Customers?

My only complaint is the lack of new weapons. If they were to add a new method of murder and mayhem I would be a happy servant of Chaos. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

I'm not entirely sure (been a few years since I quit the tabletop game due to money issues) but I was under the impression that the LotD were of questionable loyalty and thus a single squad could be taken with either army. But as I said, it's been a few years :p

And they won't release a Space Wolves or Iron Warriors skin since it was given away as a pre-order bonus in certain stores. I had to buy the Elite Armour Pack code off eBay (£5) to get Space Wolves, Black Templars, Iron Warriors and Emperor's Children skins.

But if they did, it would be for monies since if it was free it would kinda cheat the people who bothered to pre-order.

You kept my footnote X3

Yeah, things have moved forwards. From the looks of things, they canonised the Fire Hawks/Lords Chapter (forget the exact name behind the theory), and now they can be taken as an Elites Choice for standard Space Marine armies only. They basically work as an expensive Tactical Squad that Deep Strikes and has 3+ Invulnerable saves. Yes, this is indeed pure cheese, welcome to Fifth Edition.

In addition, I should add it seems to be common practice right now to release Pre Order Bonuses a short time after the release - Transformers: War for Cybertron had it's three pre order charecters (Shockwave, Jazz and Demolishor) released alongside two others in the first pack, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution released the content from the Augmented Edition (the extra credits, the Hunting Shotgun, Silenced Sniper Rifle etc) a short while afterwards.
