Wow, I guess the Final Fantasy 7 full game download that has Cloud and Barret that I've been playing on my PSP am currently in Kalm on. looks like ass and paid $10 for is Crisis Core then.

O wait, it's the original FF7 that I've been playing. And it's downloadable for the PS3 as well. Check the Playstation Store more often, it's under "Playstation Classics"

What does wtb mean? Regardless, I'd purchase a 360 version of FF7. That would be a lot easier than getting a PS3 or finding a original copy of it.

as for the game its self ive got the original but id love to have it for the 360 for a few reasons such as i dont have a ps3 and the fact that id love to see what they would do with the tech they have now

That would explain why I didn't understand the abbreviation, I don't play MMOs. Still, you've got to wonder how the cast would look with a decent graphical update, as opposed to the original lego peoples

I think you missed the point of asinann's post, they re-released the original recently, which may have been to see how interested people still are in FFVII and therefore how many people would be likely to buy a re-make

Fair enough point, but they're rather stupid if they're gonna base it on that. As I already said, the fans of the game probably already own the original, and potential new players would likely be deterred by the dated graphics. Also I've heard its possible to emulate playstation games on PSP, so people who don't like the idea of paying for an old game could download it for free.

I'm going to pretend you just wanted to tell us that a FF7 remake would be pointless, because there was a re-release a while ago.

But it probably isn't, the artwork doesn't look like it at all. It's not what they probably will do, but more what I'd like them to do is a Final Fantasy game for the Nintendo DS, only with real-time action gameplay.

Like, maybe...Agito XIII for DS? Please?
