New Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Footage

You know what makes acceptance speeches awesome? Giant Robots.

Transformers director Michael Bay was awarded the Vanguard Award for Excellence in Film Making at the ShoWest [http://www.showest.com/filmexpo/showest/index.jsp] trade show this weekend, and to wrap up his acceptance speech he showed the assembled crowd some footage from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. As is the way of things, the footage found its way onto YouTube, so now we can all see what we're getting in our next installment of robot-on-robot violence.

Apparently, what we're getting involves angst, robot face kicking and Megan Fox. There are worse ways to spend an afternoon.

"Michael Bay was awarded the Vanguard Award for Excellence in Film Making"

Hmmm? How come that Michael Bay and "Excellence in Film Making" is in the same sentence?

Giant fighting robots and teenage angst.

What
Dude, haven't you ever watched a Gundam series before? The two go together like PB&J.

Am I the only one not excited for this movie??

Seriously. The first one was a meh-fest.
I hated the first one, and will probably dislike this one as well.

Michael Bay is good at turning a movie with a bad plotline/acting into a 200 million dollar blockbuster because of special effects and explosions. This does not mean they are good!!

I hate Bay with a vengeance.

I don't know if the guy's ever seen the word "subtlety" in his life.
