People hate nickleback because the play the same song over and over again, just with differant lyrics, there is no variation, and the're very monotone.

Except not really.
Have you tried listening to an entire album from them? Or are you one to just follow the crowd and blurt out what everyone else is saying?

I personally like Nickelback, and I don't see why everyone hates them so much. Their last album Dark Horse wasn't terrible, in fact it was quite good.

I liked Nickelback once... They have a shot for that now. It cured me in about a week.

We hate them for the same reason we hate the Jonas Bros. Sure, we don't have any musical talent, but that doesn't mean that just because you can play an instrument or keep in key that you can force us to endure what is a very tacky and formulaic pop song sung through marlboro man voice. They are the "I used to be gay, but then I found out it was wrong. I'M NOT HOMO" kid of the music industry.

I for the most part like Nickelback, Although don't like Photograph. That said i will agree that it does sound samey, but i could name a few bands like that. Plus kinda lets you know if you like one song, you'll probably like this other song.

For pure variety, The Cars first album, holy shit man.

I'm not really into 'Photograph', but I do like quite a few of the band's songs. Who cares about what they try to look like...? As long as the music is solid I'm fine. Their first album ('Curb', if I'm not mistaken) was actually pretty heavy.
I must have missed the day when the internet decided that Nickelback is to be shunned. Meh.

First of all, Nickelback isnt a bad band. They may have some bad songs but who cares, im not a hardcore Nickelback fan. i mainly listen to heavy metal, i listen to Nickelback and The Hellacopters etc, when i want to relax, they're not ment to be played over and over again, and if you're tired of the same shitty songs being played all the time then why listen to the radio? I can understand why you dont love the band but why hate them?
