This is the one I?ve been waiting for ever since knowledge of his appearance was but whispers and shadows. It looks like the wait will be worth it.
Nightwolf debuted in the third game. And went kind of in and out before the reboot.Majestic Manatee said:Nightwolf was a main character in the previous base games. Now we are expected to pay for him separately and be excited about it? How exemplary of the AAA industry as it stands today.
The single player content still dwarfs that of any other fighting game; even their own Injustice 2. Sure it would be great if all characters released at launch, but it hasn?t been that way ever since online/digital services have been a thing. The next best thing people could do is just wait until the ?complete? edition is out with everything at discount. But to each their own. Personally, I am done with NetherRealm Studios. Probably with WB as a publisher, but perhaps one of these days they'll release a $60 game that doesn't feel like a f2p game.
Well it does play quite a bit differently than X. Much less focused on rush down?s and 50/50?s. It?s more tactical now with better defense options and a revamped meter system that greatly helps the flow of gameplay. The Krypt is also far improved; essentially its own action adventure meta game with an entire island to explore and unlock. The only downside is a majority of the cosmetic content is RNG?d, so it might take a long while to get that awesome looking piece of gear you?ve been eyeing for a certain character.Silentpony said:So I've been wondering what is the appeal in new Mortal Kombat games? Not like in a dickish 'Who likes this shit?' way, but in a legit is there a difference between MK10 and MK11 that warrants both a new game, and a new purchase? Like do the moves/core mechanics change so much? It feels like the FIFA thing all over again - same game, slightly different cast
