At least Anon had the history of standing up for just causes (even if they were mostly bullshit).
You guys are just douchebags.

The only people I've seen use caps like that are the ones who are trying to convince you to ACCEPT JESUS CHIRST THE LORD AS YOUR SAVIOR or else you will BURN IN HELL.stewox said:That's because if you have brains , you know they are talking about the company image, nintendo is the most friendlies companies ever, there was no point of proving anything.
Do you guys actually realize from what this SONY thing started, ... it's super simple. Sony totally disabled and prevented any further use of LINUX on the PS3 like a year or more ago, making those people angry ... that's why the FAILOVERFLOW started to get serious, that's why geohot ... that's why rage at sony , because sony did this to their self, PS3 came out with ADVERTISMENTS that it can run LINUX and was marketed OFFICIALLY.
They took LINUX away, they attacked the linux hackers who were only trying to get linux up working , NOT PIRACY, .... and they paid for it. FailOvefl0w has always stated it does not do that for piracy, and they cracked it but they wouldn't released --- idk what happened between why FO even released something ... but geohot made a jailbreak and released it based on the exploit that failoverflow made.
If they got linux to play with (they werent using linux to try to pirate it, nobody just did it because everyone was busy with other projects such as Wii ... which is what is a MORAL OF THIS WHOLE THING . HACKERS WILL ALWAYS ATTACK WHAT IS THE MOST LOCKED OUT SYSTEM - they shifted toward PS3 IMMEDIATELY as Linux was disabled in a frimware update.
That's why, if you're nice and support the customers, have a lot less chance of getting outright hacked unless you PROVOKE the attack, and sony is incompetent, their security SUCKS, they just weren't attacked before, it's really not that they had better security not by a long shot, not in a million years.
When they got linux, all were happy, nobody seriously tried or hyped hacking it for piracy, only minor stuff such as basement idiots who operate file sharing sites ... but those were 16old script kiddies they never broken anything serious to crack the PS3 ... and Sony was afraid of those kids using linux typing commands and "magically" crack it, that's how the company is totally wrong at what their perception is, only serious guys who are at college actually know stuff and those guys aren't idiots they would just hack it for lulz.
Everyone will log on to find thier mii is really fat and has an unnattractive beard,ArchAngelKira said:PS3 owners:OMG PS3 GOT HACKED

You do remember that they "hacked" into that security firm by calling the IT guy and convincing him they were the firms president and thereby got the password to access their files that way, right? These aren't hacker geniuses.hawkeye52 said:You do realise that the people who hacked nintendo are the same people who hacked took control and defaced the main site of a division of the FBI called infraguard (or something like that) which specialise in cyber security. They then posted all personal details of the head guy who works there after he offered them a job to take down competitors (a so called whitehat incident turning black).Jumwa said:Sounds more like a group of amateur hackers weren't able to accomplish anything, so they felt making up excuses for it would save some face.
These groups work by targeting vulnerable sites that they can get into and stir up trouble in easily. It's unlikely they're capable of doing anything more than that.
Hardly amateurs
They just posted the personal info on some top guys within an internet security firm that works for the FBI. Its just that they don't feel the need to do it for Nintendo since they like them.Pendragon9 said:Welp, I see all the people who supported "bringing down Sony" have shut up quite nicely after seeing this attack.
Guess stealing personal information isn't so "cool", now is it?
There's so much wrong with this post.AdumbroDeus said:Please?SomeBritishDude said:*Eyes his Xbox*
Any day now...
As the most evil company in the business MS deserves it.
So this story is going to end with the Lulzsec guys gut-shot in a dusty street while people cheer on their painful demise? I'm... very okay with this.Awexsome said:Reminds me of the westerns on TV where there was a roving band of outlaws that could show up and shoot up any pub they wanted because no one could stop them. Then the hero or the government of the story got involved and shut the bastards down giving the story a nice happy ending...
Thats the attack that anonymous did a while back against HBGary internet security. Lulsec did the nintendo one as a warm up to the FBI affiliate attack against infraguard.Jumwa said:You do remember that they "hacked" into that security firm by calling the IT guy and convincing him they were the firms president and thereby got the password to access their files that way, right?
