Nintendo Channel Arrives on Wii
The Nintendo Channel has arrived on the Wii console a week earlier than anticipated.
The portal can be downloaded for free from the Wii Store and takes up 123 memory blocks. It gives users the ability to check out software release dates, videos, and game reviews.
It also allows for content updates and the chance to submit one's own reviews in the setup area.
The home page currently features a video interview with Shigeru Miyamato describing top upcoming hardware and software for the console. Further information on those and other games is then presented.
A neat touch is an integrated DS download station, where demos for the hand-held can be accessed.
