Nintendo Will Continue to do Nintendo Directs

Nintendo will continue to deliver new information about its upcoming titles... directly to you.

One of the best moves Nintendo made in the past few years was the introduction of the with his passing [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/tag/view/nintendo%20direct?os=%20nintendo%20direct], their future was somewhat up in the air. Thankfully, Nintendo has confirmed that the directs will continue, sans Iwata.

Speaking to Tatsumi Kimishima [http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/09/15/nintendo-directs-will-continue] certainly doesn't look like the kind of guy who would get up to the same goofball antics as Regie, Miyamoto, and Iwata, but who knows? He had better brush up on his "please understand" delivery.

Speaking of, one thing we can probably expect is to see Regie and Miyamoto return to the directs, and will hopefully hear more about them soon.

I'll take muppets over Shaun White and female colleague any day. Probably is cheaper too than renting out the Chinese Theatre too.

No kidding; all the pressers by other companies just come off as awkward or dull. It's just walking middle-aged men trying to "connect" with the youth and coming off as stilted.

Sure, Kimishima LOOKS like he wouldn't be a good fit for Nintendo Directs, but if that Necktie migrates from around his neck to around his head? I have yet to see the Japanese salary man that doesn't look like you could have a good time with him when his symbol of business authority becomes a party headband.

Nintendo Direct hosted by a drunk sarariman? That's the way to connect with the younger audience! I know I'd watch that.
