I always think that a hot curry and lots of showers/baths help a cold. Try not to do too much, avoid dairy products as they help in mucus production. Sleep is always good as well. Drink plenty of fluids!

I generally just drink my weight in Lucozade and sleep lots.
Same I only like Lucozade when I am ill. That and chicken soup.
What the hell is Lucozade...
It's that stuff:

And it is like an instant cold cure... Well it makes you feel a lot better when you feel ill.
I prefer the orange flavour.

Lempsip. Gotta catch 'em all.

My particular brand of humour is unmatched, within any social group, culture or cacti.

I recommend a shitload of pills.

EDIT: Not the best way, but the most colorful.

Take slightly more cocodamol than is really safe and hibernate through the illness; drugs are fun.

there IS a cure, its just not a long lasting cure (you take it, you get cured but you can get sick again)

Don't believe you're ill. Seriously. If you think you're going to go down with an illness, you're more likely to.

Those shower tablets that dissolve and put fumes in you shower.

I buy them in bulk when I'm getting sick, especially rosemary mint scented ones.

I've never heard of this, but it sounds fantastic! I didn't expect this thread to be nearly as helpful as it's turned out to be.

Tvey should be at your local drug store, I suggest trying to get scented ones unless you really like straight up menthol smell.

But yeah, hot shower+ those=amazingness

I think having about 3 roasting hot baths a day helps.

Its not really a cure, but it makes me feel better.
