Hit and a miss this week...
Link being called Zelda and confused with a woman; that was played out ... in highschool.

Using jokes that peaked 18 years ago, not the best idea. :(

That bro be sexy, yo!

Also, something tells me this will not be the last "Link" to come for a session, considering that last one's a "clone"... Might I suggest going the "Toon" route, if you know what I mean?

The unconventional voice for Link would have been funny, if it wasn't 100% whine. And the "he's Link, not Zelda" joke is so stale it can be fashioned into not just a regular sword, but a MASTER sword.

Thanks for making it clear it's not the same Link in every game. But this Link was the whiniest, so that's why he usually doesn't talk.
Just how recurring is that fat guy with the neck beard and backwards hat?

I understand the complexities of making an animated cartoon for the internet. I've tried it. (That burnt toast thing to the left was part of one of my attempts.) It is hard. It is time consuming. Especially when you have to make new art for it every week. Luckily, I never had that sword dangling over my head. And still, I wasn't very good at it-humor, schedule, or animation quality.

This episode was a complete miss for me. There just wasn't much humor in it. I'd say you guys have a solid concept here. But, you need better/funnier/fresher material before you spend the effort to animate what you have. Nothing is more crushing to an artist than to spend a lot of effort and resources to get to a joke that isn't appreciated. Yes, it is easy for me to say this from the comfort of my completely safe judging chair.

Keep after it. I respect the hell out of what you are doing. Will you accept scripts? Like people write up their version of what your show would look like with a given character and then you edit/gut it to your liking? Just curious.

I guess, this is CD Link.
Pretty much
1. Holy crap, that explains so very much. & 2. This one was a miss for me, guys. But it's fine. Happens to every one at some point. Probably should have TOLD us it was the CD Link, though. Although, admitedly, the opening bit WAS pretty funny.

I found this episode okay I guess. Though I got more interested in The Frankenstein discussion. According to Wikipedia the writer of Frankenstein is a female who might've been inspired by a castle that had the same name. Frankenstein's monster in the original story is named Adam as a reference to man acting like a god.

This is the first one I've really not cared for much.

But I don't want that to be interpreted as not liking the show or not wanting more. I think this little toon has so much potential and you guys are clearly talented. But this one just didn't land for me. Sorry guys.

Still eager for next Thursday though! :)

So the legend of Zelda, is actually the story of a princess who gets kidnapped, then sits around waiting, while someone else entirely goes on an arduous journey to rescue her? Shouldn't the actual game be you wake up, get kidnapped, then spend a few days or weeks waiting in a dungeon/tower/room, then someone shows up out of the blue and takes you home?

The person in the title does not always have to be a protagonist.

Aside from the other criticisms in this thread, I think you guys are starting to hit the stride on pacing and content. Though yes the Zelda/Link mixup joke may be old, IMO its still funny if used right. It felt organic and not forced to me.
Keep up the good work guys, I enjoy your stuff and think you've really got something here.

So with this one being the first one I've watched... are these things supposed to be funny, because this one was just annoying. I decided to go back & watch some of the others & didn't find them funny at all. Seems like just a bunch of stale used up gaming "jokes" to me.

Just not my kind of thing I guess.
