Hello to you all at the Escapist,
So it's time again to take another trip down memory line. Before the days of smart phones, facebook, instragram, twitter, flickr and any other kind of social networking. This was during the age when pictures we use to take, had to be done on small strips of film that had to be processed at the latest pharmacy/chemist or photo outlet. Taking several hours, or days, to complete and get back. Polaroid changed that and made taking any kind of pics fun and enjoyable. Quick and easy with a click of a button, flash, picture comes out, you shake it so the image will show and there you have it.
Today of course you can take a picture now within a matter of seconds and you don't even need a hard copy. Just tap the screen, post it on the nearest social media site and there for you and your friends to enjoy instantly. To be honest there are more of a down side to that than you with Polaroids. You can list the pro and cons of instant smart phone pics if you wish but right now let us remember this rather large but not too big device. It was hard to take a selfie with one cause of the size or the flash blinding you.
So what are your thoughts and fondest memories of Polaroid Cameras and Pictures and yes I also know that they are still used today to bring back that retro 90s feel. So comment below and enjoy.
Also they do come in different sharps and sizes.
