Even though my PC can run both of these games, I chose to buy them for the 360 because i was rather fond my 360 at the time, but now i wonder if I missed out on anything by choosing the 360 version. Is there any big changes between the PC and 360 versions of both these games? also, Are they worth the repurchase?

In the PC version you can get mods and such. As i don't have the PC version I can't say if you really missed out.

Well I felt the same way. But really you didn't miss on anything. I had to re buy Fallout for the PC (plus the 300 dollar graphics card) after my 360 tragically died. there is little difference. The only people who should feel like the got fucked are the PS3 owners.

I bought it for the PC, but after that I learned Oblivion needs a DVD drive to play, so then I had to work for a few weeks, doing many a Odd-Job, to buy a DVD drive for my computer. But after I finished the game on the PC, I went over to my friends house to spend the night, then watched him play Oblivion for 12 hours straight. (The man is a major Video Game Hog) I found no Diffrence.

Have any of you who are saying there's no difference actually tried the mods? I'm just curious, I've never played myself, but there must be some good mods out there. Right?
Oblivion really doesn't earn its stripes without them. If you want to go full-bore with the awesome there's FCOM, but at an absolute minimum you need either S.P.A.M. or Kobu's Character Advancement System to eliminate the "efficient leveling" problem that is the single worst design decision in both Morrowind and Oblivion.

Vanilla game, no differnce.

If you intelligently mod the game, it becomes on the order of 10x-100x better.

I always buy the PC versions for the mods... they extend the game life so much if you find a good batch.
Heck, people are still making mods for Baldur's Gate 2 and Planescape: Torment.
I'd say surf places like Fallout/Oblivion Nexus for mods and if there are enough that catch your eye, a PC version may be worth it.

Cheats, mods and inferior controls. That is all it boils down to.

Yea I personally consider both Oblivion and fallout to be wonderful games, they are some of the best western RPG's around.

I would personally go for the PC version because its simply has more to offer, although if you do have a substantial amount of friends on xbox live, the party chat feature is most helpful when on your 70th hour of gameplay.

Unless you have more friends with pc's and Xfire.
