Official Klingon Beer Warnog Coming Soon to US & Canada

A hint of mild banana and clove? See if Kahless can tell the difference between this and the genuine article.

The Canadian Federation of Beer, official partners of the Star Trek franchise, have something special in store for Klingons and would-be Klingons in North America: Warnog, a Roggen Dunkel style ale with hints of banana, clove and caramel. Just the thing to warm the blood on those cold nights, and if anyone in the group starts claiming to be Emperor Kahless, just give 'em a pint and tell 'em to pipe down.

This isn't the first time the Federation of Beer has graced us with a unique beverage. Last time out the gate it was Vulcan Ale, a rather bland title for what looks to be an interesting Irish Red style brew. But that was a Canada-only offering, while Warnog will be the first to invade the US and make waste of its enemies. Before you ask, no, we don't have a launch date on this one; coming soon is as far as the Federation of Beer is prepared to go.

Ahh, the drinking, TlhutlhmeH HIq ngeb qaq law' bIQ qaq puS [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTuD6xf-ync]. Fake ale is better than water!

I hope it's better than the Vulcan Ale... that stuff tastes very bitter... perhaps that makes sense as a Trekkie Joke? I dunno... However this Warnog is a Roggen Dunkel and I looooovvvvveeeeee Dunkel style beer, so fingers crossed and anticipation building I guess?

Never fast read articles or you get something entirely different. Like I got whit this article instead of Kahless I read Kathleen. And for some unknown reason I was searching for a video link to see her tasting Beer.
I really need to concentrate on what I am doing :)

So do Canadians put cloves and bananas in their beer? Or is that just a description of its aroma (still sounds bleh).

And what about bloodwine? Someone make bloodwine (though that'd probably just be a very strong spirit/liquor).

I'll have to pick up a pack next year. Sadly, I don't have the tongue for Klingon but there can't be anything too bad in a Warrior's brew, right?

Does anyone remember when Star Trek: The Experience existed in Las Vegas? They had the DS9 promenade, complete with Quark's, where you could buy (pretty good) Romulan Ale and Klingon Bloodwine.
