Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

Hey there. I'm looking for the name of a 2D platforming PC game with an educational twist from the early-mid 90s. I tried to google it but couldn't find anything so maybe you guys can help me out.

Here is some stuff I remember:

- You played as a kid with blond (?) hair and a sweater or jacket which didn't fit (the sleeves were too long). I'm not sure, but I think the sweater/jacket was red.

- I recall playing a forest type level with horizontal and vertical platforming. Also it was raining and the graphics were kinda SNES-like.

- The game tried to teach kids about nutrition and healthy food. You had to collect and eat all kinds of foods but if you had too much carbohydrates or fat you got fat yourself and moved way slower. I think you could get skinny again by walking around a bit or by eating vegetables or something like that.

So yeah. I'm quite curious to see if someone actually knows this game

I just remembered this game that i played a long time ago and probably forgot it existed it starts with a s i think but it had trampolines at this beach and other places, you could own pets and take care of them. And at the beach there was a trampoline playground where you just trampolines to trampolines and there were different genres you could change to like fishing, a ninja, a guy/girl with a hatchet etc. i think but you could change into anything while doing missions and you navigate with your mouse to every where you go and you have your own house and you could go to different place to do missions to... Please help me figure out this game i am stressing over it and close the the beach there's this trampoline there where you can just up on the bar or whatever its call or just walk up there and sometimes there is a whale in the distance of the beach and it's a online game

This was mostly a text based game where you accumulate points to buy food of various types, and then 'throw' it at an opponent, and it would do a certain amount of damage based on the type of food it was. You could buy oranges, asparagus, etc. The graphics were basically just a few images of cartoony food. Not the atari arcade game, this was mostly on a white background.

So I'm PRETTY sure this game is called Bricks, but it's such a horribly generic title, whenever I search for it I get a bunch of other results of games with the same name. I hope someone here will know what I'm talking about. This is what I remember:

It's for PC. There are few bricks on each level. They're mostly grey with patterns on them, surrounded by a box of purely grey bricks. You control the bricks with patterns. The idea is to match two or more with the same pattern to make them disappear. Once you match them all you move on to the next level.

That's all I remember. Please help!

Also, when I was even younger, I used to play this maths game on my mum's pc (mid-90s) where a boy and a girl would solve maths equations to get to new levels and beat/kill aliens or something? Loved that too!

Anyone know the names of these games?

Hey, I'm trying to remember this game, I remember it being really amazing but I just don't remember the name. I remember it being a sort of Godzilla-type monster destruction game that had all kinds of destructible buildings, you could fight against another player or play a campaign mode that put you up against AI, but the campaign mode also had bosses. One boss I remember in particular was this giant metal alien with tentacles that I believe broke open and had a gigantic brain inside. I'm also certain Godzilla was actually in the game, but I've search all over the internet for Godzilla games but I couldn't find a single one that looked like that game so I'm assuming "Godzilla" may not have actually been in the title. Another random thing I remember is a monster that had the ability to go semi-invisible, kind of like a military cloak, I'm certain it was on the PS2, and I remember it having really good graphics but I was pretty young at the time so I'm sure most games looked really good to me.

If anyone knows what this game is or can find it I would be seriously grateful, it's driving me nuts.

EDIT: Nevermind guys I found it! It's called "War of The Monsters" and apparently is doesn't have Godzilla in it. I guess I got confused because the theme of the game was very similar to Godzilla, but it's an awesome game.

I remember this old racing game, but I don't remember what system it was for (Strong possibility it was the N64 though). I remember the graphics were pretty cartoony (the cars even had eyes), but that you could also make the vehicles explode if they crashed. I remember there was a green motorcycle character that I always crashed going over a bridge.

EDIT: There was also this game on the SNES, I can't remember too much about it story wise (though I do remember in the intro some woman referred to the play characters as "Dogs"). However, it had a behind-the-character view, which wasn't too common back then, and you also had one or two (or maybe more) allies with you whenever fighting.

The only search terms I could dredge up from memory returned a similar post on page 40 something of this thread. I must have read over 150 pages trying to find an answer. Got there via other means eventually (SERIOUS Google Fu and aid of classmates who played it on the school Acorn). The original poster probably gave up long ago, but that game's damn difficult to find so maybe this will help other people.

Just in case anyone else is looking for any of these (I think they've already been posted, but not sure how far upthread).

I do still have two games I want to know more about:

The first is some kind of flying game, probably DOS, where you fly a small plane (maybe some kind of jet?) through a very basic 3D landscape. First person perspective, and I think you were always flying through valleys or mountains. I remember the land was usually all one colour, and I think the sky was a different colour. I can't remember much more, unfortunately. I don't think it was a simulator or race but I can't remember if there were any enemies in the game either. Sorry that it's not much to go on.

The second breaks the thread somewhat as I know that the game was called Armageddon Cow. That's all I remember. If I really stretch my memory it brings up images of 2D pixellated yet photographic cows with blood splats, but I think I'm confusing this with one of the Carmageddon games. I know this existed as there are videos of a 'remake' to be found on Google but this doesn't stir any recollection whatsoever (some kind of cow-with-catapult two player in 3rd person from behind the cow) and I don't know if they've changed it beyond recognition. Nothing of the original on Google, Youtube or Wiki that I can see.

I've been looking for this game for more than two years on and off.
Time frame: 85-95
System: PC
Genre: Side-scrolling, platforming, RPG
Contained: Swords, Inventory, Overworld with village shops. Cave entrances leading to dungeons.

What I did: I would buy a sword and go into the cave and defeat some monsters and come back outside to the village and buy a better sword and go back in the cave and kill more monsters, but I always died after one upgrade because I was like 7 years old. I told myself I would eventually beat it one day. Now I'm an adult and seek revenge on the software, but I'm coming up empty on the title.

A fairly old shooting game ( I reckon it was a PS1 game) in which you could pick your character, and I remember one of those characters name was Bag, an old lady. You could also play against other people.

Can you help me remember a sci-fi game from around 1995?
In the game I was controlling a space craft which was flying or floating on a flat area made from lines and squares. There were some colorful objects like cubics on this area. The purpose was finding and shooting enemy vehicles.

I know this is not the best description but that's all I can remember.
This was one of the first PC games I've played. It has nostalgic value for me, can you help me find out its name?

I'm pretty sure it was made by Squaresoft/enix and I'm remembering it reminded me of FF.
The main character had Red hair I believe and the game had something to do with collecting pieces of pendants? Which you could maybe summon?

The main guy also had a massive sword and you would walk around in 3rd person looking for these pieces of pendants.

This is all i can remember, i also remember the first few levels being very grey.

I don't think it was a bit his as i remember it being reduced dramatically shortly after i purchased it new.

Just found this thread so I thought I'll give it a go...

I can't remember much about the whole game, but I do remember one particular mission. It is a top-down, turn-based (maybe?) strategy, and this mission was set in what I can only say was 'Wild West'. The level was fairly large, with lots of rooftops and ledges. You started off with a few units, one being a sniper. I can't remember the rest of them. I do know that the crux of the gameplay was selecting your units and shooting at the enemies.

Beyond that, I cannot remember. As for the time period, it was about 10-12 years ago. It was definitely on PC, and I think it must have been fairly well known since my father was the one who downloaded it, and he wasn't massively into games.

Thanks Man, i have already checked that though, i couldn't seem to find it, i think i would recognize the case if i was to see it, but having said that im Based in the UK< so i imagine cover art would be different.

Also, it may not be made by Squaresoft/enix - But i seem to remember that being the reason i tried it.
