Planet Terror from Grindhouse.

The entirety of that movie felt needlessly idiotic and "extreme". Goddamn, that was an awful movie. Literally made me sick.

The ending to Edge of Tomorrow.

It would have been a great ending with Cruise's character sacrificing himself for the good of mankind after being a coward at the start of the film, truly fulfilling his arc. Then some bullshit happens and he comes back. It just felt so forced. I have no idea if that's how it goes in the book, but I hear the film only takes the base idea and they are very different.

In my mind that movie will always end about 5 minutes before it actually does.
The book ends very differently. I can assure you that you wouldn't find it as forced as you did the movie.

Ever lost your glasses while they're on your face? I have.

Did you spend two hours looking for them? I did.
I know exactly how that feels bro.

Also just finished my first playthrough of Fire Emblem Awakening, on Hard mode which means enemy spawns move on the same turn they appear which is just a nightmare to deal with. So many game over screens.

The ending to The Lego movie, a fun, silly film right up until the end when

It turns into a movie about a child and his dad

Totally jarring, like they didn't know how to end the film.
Not really when you look into it, they kinda foreshadowed it with the "Kraggle" being a worn out bottle of Krazy Glue, Morgan Freeman's ghost being held on string, Morgan Freeman's staff being a chewed up lollipop.

OT. Reading up on Naruto and seeing how its jumped the shark so much that I think that somewhere down the line even the shark said fuck everything.

I've finally gotten around to playing through Dark Souls 2, and I had very, very long sessions of "Aw c'mon!" one after another.

Fuck the Royal Rat Authority. Fuck it and everything it stands for. I fought it when I first got through the Shaded Woods, and I'm using a character that is mainly a sorcerer, with a Magic Shortsword +10, or whatever the infusion that adds magic damage is, if I need to take out something resistant to magic. Which is almost never until the Shaded Woods.

Now, I had heard the boss becomes a joke if you stay under it, but that didn't work for me. It would just charge and knock my character over if the first hit didn't outright kill me.

So I had to learn proper melee dodging from this one boss, because I can't use magic without leaving myself open for it to kill me. I kept trying to block it's charge attack, and dodge away from the swipe, which would leave it open to attack.

I rage quit so hard I was pissed off the rest of the day. And then I go and kill it in one try the very next day. That just pissed me off even more.

Apparently for melee characters, the challenge comes from the toxic rat-dog things that populate the boss arena. Not so much for magic users. This thing has no variation. If you're not close enough to touch it's balls, it'll charge you with an absurd hitbox. If you ARE close enough to touch it's balls, it'll do two swipes that can hit way further than you'll be expecting every single time until you get used to it.

So you'd think it would be pretty easy regardless of play-style. Good god no.

ABCs Once Upon a Time in Wonderland had a WTF moment that to this day bewilders me with its bit of godawful writing and waste of a character:

During the second half of the season, a young female thief named "Lizard" discovers the Knave Will had become a genie. Having a secret crush on him, she ends up phrasing her last wish that he would show emotion for her.

The wish (I assume because Will had his heart magically removed - that's not a joke) causes her to DROP DEAD in front of him. He does get upset, but a few minutes later and he acts like she never existed. She was on the show for a total of 2 episodes. Worse, the Jabberwocky, repurposed as an evil sorceress, needs to find Alice and her group, so she steals Lizard's memory by PLUCKING AN EYE FROM HER CORPSE.

It's all wildly unnecessary and creepy as hell and the more it sank in that they were just going to run with it, the more I found myself saying "Are you serious, writers?"

"Re-watching" those Gen 3 MLP specials last Friday... The amount of "misunderstandings" in those specials were "interesting" to say the least...

Other than that, the season 2 finale of Haganai[footnote]My glob, did it make me wish it ended similar to how Season 1 ended...[/footnote] as well as when I tried to listen to one of my favorite songs on my PSP only to find out that the song file is now "corrupted" and "unplayable"... :(

Shiny Breeding in Pokemon. I got two Shiny Tepigs in the last batch I had but both were missing I.V.s in their most important stats.

I had a "Aww, C'mon!" moment about two or three minutes before that:

I don't know if it is part of the book or not, but I really hated the kiss between Emily Blunt and Tom Cruise just before the final mission. I believed they were warriors, then the film shoehorns a romance subplot in the last two or three seconds, which made my maybe ending of a 10 drop to a 9, and then the poor ending drop to an 8. Great movie while it lasted, but I don't need to have shoehorned romance in my movies, if it can be avoided.
I always took that as it was the last thing they were ever going to do and they knew it. I didn't feel any real romantic connection there. There never really could be with that being the first 24 hours that Blunt's character knew Cruise's. But their entire entourage just died, there would be no coming back from it this time, and this could be very well the last action she would take in her life. Might as well do one impulsive thing to signify life was there before losing it completely

Just about every match I've had in World of Tanks over the last week has been one big that moment. It's becoming quite tiring.
