So basically, Oprah is an idiot and said something stupid. How is this any different than what she's been doing for years?

It depends on the food, but I tend to eat most food with my hands.

Also this is the only Oprah-related thing I know of.

I love that give and raise you with this image from Amazons Attack:

She comes off as an opinionated ***** based on that alone. Then again she would have to be opinionated to have had a TV talk show for so many decades and I shouldn't be too harsh towards her since her legion of fans would likely murder me if I were to criticize the woman. As for how often I eat with my hands...sandwiches, pizza, calzones, chicken wings, fried chicken in general, sushi (sometimes)...I'm sure there's other food I eat with my hands but I think its more common than Oprah believes it to be.

Looking at Opera's ass, you would think she is shoveling her self with both hands. Probably some silverware down there as well. What a ****.
Bravo, this made me laugh the hardest and longest today. 10/10

Sigh. Oprah, when did you become the Ugly American? Do you not see the juxtaposition between giving a bunch of middle-class women in your audience free cars, and bringing some Indian man- who, by the way, welcomed you into his home- to tears for not providing well enough for his family, and then walk away without so much as dropping off a coupon for a free sandwich? Excellent job with the "America is best because America is best" bit, too. And then there's that cultural disaster at the dining table. "You STILL eat with your hands? My goodness, I bet you slaughtered the chicken on this table too."

Because there education is so good.

Why do so many Indians always want to study in England? Go to America - it's bigger and there is so much more stuff to do and see. England is a small island with a shit economy, a huge population and a cold weather.

I would much rather go to the states!
Because we have free healthcare, and I will say no more before I start ranting about immigration..

As an Englishman , i am slowly but surely coming to despise our former colony ,america that is, not India. I don't understand the whole "america, f**k yeah" mentality, yes you are a power in the world, no you are not the best by far, recent events point that out very clearly, the fact that she can patronize Indians annoys me to the high heavens. Apart from her celebrity status, what specialist skills does she have. What gives her the right to patronize, apart from a misplaced sense of superiority? if a Indian, Englishman, or any other nationality were to visit america, they may find their customs strange and weird, but they wouldn't insult them in their own homes, it's just not the proper thing to do. Dare i say only an american would do this?

I was actually rather rushed for time when I posted that. Looking back the whole sentence bugs me simply cause I hate starting them with a conjunction. I really should of at least added a comma or two so it made sense.

There are huge Indian communities here in the UK. Many family's take students in as well and a lot of Indians have relatives here. Maybe less of a culture shock that way. We have as much stuff to do and loads of stuff to see, the only thing we really lack are the impressive and super massive geological attractions like the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone park. Besides there are other advantages to the UK like the NHS, that alone is worth a bit of wind and rain.
I live in Leicester.
We have the Golden Mile and the biggest Asian population in the United Kingdom so we have numerous students who come over to study. Heck, a lot of people just migrate here. Our Diwali is awesome and apparently bigger than some of the celebrations in India (and you get free food).

I am just saying if I was given the choice to study here or in the United States I would go to the United States. The weather is better, things are a lot cheaper and there are more things to do for young people. You can drink at 18 here sp most of the students just go into the Scream Pubs for £1 vodkas.

America is supposed to be the land of the free and yet people tend to come to this very expensive island. I just question why. That is all.
Cost of living in the US is a bit cheaper that's true. Birmingham held a large Diwali festival last year and opened it to all faiths, its a great festival.

Oprah does not represent all of us.

I'll admit, there are a bunch of idiots in our country. There's no denying that. But I hate it when people assume we all act like this.

It's like assuming all you Englishmen drink tea all day or have bad teeth. It's just a stupid generalization.

Believe me, I'm just as annoyed at Oprah acting like this because then it gives people a bad impression of us.
