Pandaren Join World Of Warcraft In Next Expansion

It's really hard to believe it's for real and I'm really shocked Actilizard is actually serious about all this, but I guess attracting even younger audience in form of Kung-Fu Panda fans is the only choice for "getting-too-old" WoW universe. But still... WOW... Pokemons... Lore-wise, it's going to be Thrall who introduce it to Orcs, no doubts: "Lookie what I found in foreign lands brothers! This will free us of corruption of demonic magic! Garrosh, you prefer black or white?", right...

Am I mistaken or there were "New Talent System" at the end of the video? I mean... why was it necessary to break the talent system in Cataclysm in first place, just to replace it again.

Now I'm really ashamed I actually spent 5 years of my only life actively participating in this circus... I mean... Yeah :-/

As much as I love the idea of a neutral race, and the Pandaren are always awesome, I still feel it's a bit much devoting and entire expansion to them.
A large patch, maybe, and Pandaria itself appearing in a future expansion as a part of it, but on it's own?
I just wonder how they'll stretch enough variety and adventure over the homeland of one race.
Monks seem a bit silly, really.

Still, I'm game, and when I re-start my WoW account I'll be getting this bad boy and making a Pandaren Horde Warrior.
And my Hunter will tame Pandaria's rare beasts!

Nope, the Monk class will be available to all the races, except Worgen and Goblins.

That said, the important non-panda bit of this expansion is the game's upcoming "Pet Battle System." A quick glance at the official page [http://us.battle.net/wow/en/game/mists-of-pandaria/feature/pet-battle] might convince you that this is an attempt by Blizzard to replicate Pokémon within World of Warcraft, and according to every source I'm hearing from that's exactly correct. In place of Nintendo's beloved 'mon, Blizzard is using creatures from throughout the vast Azerothian bestiary, but otherwise the basic ideas of capturing, collecting and battling miniature beasts is entirely intact.

I shudder to think what those murloch marines people got from blizzcon will be able to do with those rifles of theirs. Especially when they're on stimpacks.

We were having a discussion within our guild recently, speculating on what the 'other' race would be if this expansion was real, "because Pandaren will obviously be Alliance". I'm glad it's worked out this way - not because I'm interested in Pandaren as a race but because the only things we could come up with for another playable race were Furbolg and Murloc, both of which would be idiotic.

Anyway: the new race doesn't interest me much, the new class doesn't sound like the sort of thing I'd be good at, the Pokemon minigame sounds just a little bit silly... I'll work out how I feel about any other changes when they happen. But I do like the idea of a new continent to play around in.

Well, it's finally happened.

The countdown for WoW's discontinue has begun.

But, those smart arses are using this expansion as a stalling field... I think, as they have anticipated this downfall of subscribers and the inevitable death of WoW. So, they work on codename Titan, another Mmorpg, but with guns. I don't see how that could go wrong.

Honestly, it looks quite beautiful, but it's nothing I haven't seen before... I'm not intrigued enough to begin again.
Why couldn't a freaking titan threaten WoW? Like Sargeras? And open up a new part of Outland maybe. I miss that place... So many fond memories.

I mean... I don't... I... official site, zone previews, trailers, announcement... No. Elaborate prank. It must be. Full cinematic trailer or it isn't happening.

Starting zone is a turtle? One race for both factions?

If it is real, I don't know if I'll quit over it, but I'm probably not going to buy it. We've wrapped up pretty much all of the baddies from the RTSs that we needed to (after Deathwing), and that's where I'm getting off the train.
