I think it may interest you.
There's a p2p program called Pando Media Booster that's installed automatically when you download League of legends.
It seeds at about 70% of your maximum upload speed, 24/24 even if you closed the game. There's a lot of people complaining it is malware. It just cost me 110$ of bandwith overfee (250gb a month). When I checked, it was uploading at 14mbps. Only way to see it is from the task manager.
It think the game companies doing this should be denounced.

Someone else had problem with this?
Can you guys check how much it uploads?

Odd, I have LoL installed and I've never had Pando really do anything when LoL is closed.
It's not running atm and I did nothing to close it or prevent its startup. I also have a bandwidth monitor that shows no suspicious uploading.

Echo this. I heard of this before, so I thought I'd double check. Task Manager doesn't show it running in the processes tab and the networking tab shows that the only uploading I'm doing is the small bit of overhead associated with problems like Hamachi and Skype. That's all.

Pando comes with Nexon games nowadays and I believe they stopped letting League depend on it as of late.

Either that or Pandos put down some type of stealth shield - some bad programs do that...

You can uninstall it as soon as you finish downloading league, so get rid of it the bugger. Really helps with that annoying lag.

It came with DDO and I never felt it's impact tbh. If its messing you up get rid of it, otherwise just chill and play LoL.

As a person who does monthly clean-up of programs, I found PMB a week after I installed LOL.

It is highly recommended to uninstall it as it raises your ping.
