Given the very early status of the project, I'm thinking the trailer might be slightly more doctored than some people might otherwise want to believe.

If this sounds interesting to anyone, there's a certain browser-based game that the concept reminds me of... Except I can't really recommend it without spoiling it, since the fact that you're an alien is not something you realise at first.

It's called A Dark Room.

Anyway, this reminds me of a cross between that and, as has already been said, Mark of the Ninja.

Hmmm...I can imagine me playing that.

Walk three paces. Consult walkthrough. Tie the stick to the teddy bear and stick it in the salt to solve puzzle. Walk two paces. Consult walkthrough.

Seems like Mark of the Ninja mixed with Gunpoint. That's a good combination, especially since I've been waiting for a stealth/action game where you play as a Ridley Scott-esque Alien that isn't complete ass since A:CM came out.

Although they're promising an awful lot. I hope the heavily pixelated art-style means they can spend more time on the features they're advertising.

I love the game's title:

Paradise Lost: Where Evil falls from the Sky, cloaked in flames. Poetic.

... Ha! I got the reference! I am so smart!

Where is the part where you are banished to hell? Or become the Devil?
That, would sound very cool if done right without the religious controversy.

OT- Yep yep? Stealth platformer? Playing as an alien trying to escape?

Nah bro, you must be kidding me this is.... FUCKING AWESOME.

New game to look out for, I've found. Let the theories commence!

Did anyone else read the opening couple of lines and think immediately of WARP?
I came in set to ask the same thing.

OT- Looks like it might not be half bad. I'll say what I always say though, I'll reserve judgment until it actually comes out.
Really liked WARP, not sure this game will beat it but it's early days yet.

Very tired of pseudo-16bit graphics in general too, also there's a crap ton of indie platformers - this will need to be excellent to stand a commercial chance.

Seems really cool, I just hope it doesn't become too linear and the AI not too mindless.
Seems like it has a lot of potential.
