Pc ports

As you may have guessed the subject is PC ports.. or more specificaly the lack of PC ports.

Ok, i know that there actuely is a fair amount of games that get a spot on the PC (especialy from the Xbox) but I'd love to see games like Killzone, Halo 3, God of War... Ok so those are the only ones i'd want that i can think of off the top of my head but it's still anoy- OH YEAH! and infamous!

Halo 3 is probably going to be announced in a little bit. Otherwise, I agree with the guy who said that the other games would be hard to PC port to Microsoft systems from their lead competitor, Sony.

nah see I'm the other way. I think consels get a fair share of games, sure but they are better suited for them.

I played prince of persia and splinter cell on the 'cube and couldn't see them ever being made fun on a PC (I know the were and I though it killed the experince a little)

I'd love to see a Killzone 2 port on PC, too. I mean, I couldn't run it, but it might actually make me upgrade my rig... In fact I totally would try to if K2 came out on PC.

There isn't really much else you're missing on the PC if you don't have a 360. Obviously, as has been said, there's barely any chance for any PS3 exclusive titles showing up on PCs, but the only games I think the PC hasn't got are Halo 3, Gears of War 2 and Fable 2.

And while those are decent games, there are far better ones already on the PC, in my opinion.

I just want Final Fantasy XIV XIII and Metal Gear 4, I don't want to get a PS3 just for the 2 games I want to play :/

I know that the componies are owned by sony but i'd still like to see them on mac/pc. I know that any gaming platform not made by sony is competition but i'm not even asking for a 360 port...

I want to see a Halo 3 port only if it would allow cross platform play between the PC and 360. I would buy it just to massacre everyone.

no, their ALL owned by sony. infamous and god of war are made at sonys first party studios, and killzone is by guerilla which is owned outright by sony. though why they dont port them to the pc is beyond me, as ut3 proved it could be beneficial to the game (espically killzone whos multiplayer is swiftly dying.)

anyway, most games do get ported to the pc at some point or another, and i would be surpised if microsoft didnt port halo 3 over at some point. but to stay on topic, most fps's. i just prefer a keyboard and mouse to a controller. nothing wrong with controllers and im quite good with them, but i just prefer the more natural feel of movement that kb&m offers.

uhhhhh...ff14 IS coming to the pc, if im not mistaken its supposed to launch there before the ps3 version (though i could be wrong, just remember hearing that somewhere). but in any case, not bringing an mmo to the pc is a pretty dumb decision, espically in ff14s case where most of the ff11 community is on the pc. but still, its coming to the pc.

I didn't know Sucker Punch was OWNED by Sony, I thought they were just exclusive.

Edit: And they aren't. Just as I thought, they're an independent company, that works exclusively with Sony.

oops I meant XIII, I've just been reading about XIV so that's why I put that down. Not sure If I'm interested in the MMO versions, tried to install XI awhile ago and took me forever so gave up and went back to my other MMOs.
