Plants vs Zombies Sprouts On Nintendo DS With Extras

Plants have recently only been able to protect the world from zombies on PCs and iPhones, leaving the Nintendo DS to fend for itself, until now.

Nintendo DS [http://www.amazon.com/Plants-vs-Zombies-Nintendo-DS/dp/B00407F2BQ/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1282603931&sr=8-9] in January 2011.

Millions of people have purchased Plants vs Zombies since its original release in May 2009. PopCap hopes that by spreading the infection to the Nintendo DS that it'll keep on going until it can't be stopped.

The DS version of Plants vs Zombies will include the Adventure, Survival, and Puzzle modes already available in other versions, along with their mini-games, but PopCap also promises "new and exclusive" game content. Depending on what this means, it could make Nintendo's handheld the platform with the most complete edition of the game. Or it could just be a couple of exclusive zombies [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/102504-Michael-Jacksons-Plants-vs-Zombies-Replacement-Found].

Plants vs Zombies for the DS will be priced reasonably at $19.95, which should make it an easy purchase for gamers looking for a fun handheld experience involving the undead. Which is great, just as long as none of those gamers are prison guards [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/102667-Plants-vs-Zombies-Addiction-Leads-to-Prison-Escape].

Must. Not. Buy this game again.
Damn, you beat me to it. Though I'd be fully keen on PvZ-DS... Perhaps the new content is some sort of multiplayer mode?

I'll probably get it for DS.

I haven't played it before but I'll probably get it for Live and I new more longer lasting DS games.

That makes me sad, because I am in safe mode because of a virus that I couldn't stop >.<

Oh and PVZ, more is never enough.

Wow, this is getting even worse than distributor-based preorder bonuses... Now we are getting system based content? Ugh.

Why do you people buy the game twice Oo? It doesn't make sense to me. It's not like the game doesn't get repetitive.

Yay! As the last remaining human being who doesn't own plants vs. zombies, this news excites me!
I don't have an iphone, and playing what comes across as a portable game on a non-portable system seems odd to me. So DS version sounds great!

Unless it's revealed between now and early 2011 that the game causes some form of viral or zombie-based effect in players, in which case I'll be slightly bored when everyone else is gone.

Damn, if I didn't have this game already I would so get it again. It's infectious and shows no signs of stopping just yet.
