Play 'Em Off, Keyboard Sam Fisher

In celebration of Splinter Cell: Conviction's appearance at this year's Penny Arcade Expo, Ubisoft has released a little video starring hardboiled commando Sam Fisher taking on a popular Internet meme.

If you don't get the reference, three things: 1.) Shame on you! 2.) Why are you on on the Internet? 3.) go [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_cat].

It's always nice to see game developers with a sense of humor about promoting their game. It's also nice to see that Splinter Cell operative Sam Fisher hasn't let his piano skills go rusty, what with all the terrorist-killing and revenge-seeking he's been up to lately.

I actually hear that Sam's teaming up with Warcraft's Deathwing [http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/cataclysm/_images/layout/keyboardcataclysm.jpg] - they're going on tour together. Now that's a show that definitely shouldn't be missed!

I want that cat at my FUNeral playing me off

I also want 2 F-15 fighter jets to crash together over my body along with a little hidden speaker that played "Still Alive" on an infinite loop

Haha, that reminded me that Keyboard Cat is in Scribblenauts. He's gonna be one of the first things I summon.

Ah, yes, stalker cat. Well, given the game, they might just do that one next.

Actually, Ubisoft might just go all the way and use only Lolcat references for all their Splinter Cell advertising.

If they did, I would buy the game just to reward them.

This is probably the only internet meme I can get my head around (without the help of alcohol consumption), so it's nice to see that Ubisoft actually has a sense of humor.

Additionally, I have yet to see a Keyboard Cat video playing off Peter Molyneux, which surprises me.

That makes two people who want more lolcats in Splinter Cell.

Onward with the recruitment!

I spend a ridiculous time on the internet, including 4chan, and have never seen this meme before.

But it was still funny.

Now that's a Sam Fisher cat!

Anyway, I laughed pretty hard. Developers with a sense of humour, there should be more of those.
