Shweet.
Probably won't be able to afford it with my current saving methods, but still. Shweet.

Darn, they look great. They are the one game-related collectible I would get, if the cost wasn't so high. I love you, TF2...

PS 1000 posts :D

The point, I do not see.

Never got the whole shallow fanbase thing. It's just like a few friends I have who own shelves full of fucking anime figurines, and what for? Just shows how shallow you are. They have no purpose, you'll get bored of looking at them in a few days, and they'll just fade into the background.

But then again, you can always flail them in front of your equally shallow friends. "oooh! look at what I wasted my money on!".

Now a TF2 chess set, that would be pretty cool.

Just my luck. Silver medal is if you've bought within a year of the game's release, which was on 10.11.07. I bought it on 22nd October 2008. TWO WEEKS AND I WOULD'VE GOTTEN A SILVER DAG NAMMIT!!

Also, cool figurine, but what about the life-size Heavy?

Thanks for the heads-up about the broken link, all fixed up now.

As mentioned in the article, there's no sign yet as to what these bad boys will cost. I sent an email to Gaming Heads about it but haven't heard back yet. If I get a response, I'll let you know.

"People keep complementing our character design, what can we do to shut them up?"

"I dunno. Release some overpriced figurines?"

Oh lord, the temptation. Arg!
Oh no, and they're doing the heavy first. He's my favourite class!

Y'know, I think I can resist the TF2 figures, but if they do one of DOG then I'm done for.

Okay guys, prices are in. Hold on to your balls while I lay it out for you:

The regular Heavy statute will have a production run of 750 Red and 750 Blue, and will cost $229.99.

The limited edition Heavy statue will have a production run of 300 units each for Red and Blue, will come with an extra head (for that aforementioned pensive look) and an add-on to convert Sascha to Natascha, and will cost $244.99.

So who's going to order first?

Was considering getting one... but not for those prices, and with sucha limited run, doubt I'll be able to get one in the future.

Might get a scout if they come out far enough in the future when I actually have more then 2 quid to rub together :(

(anyone else think the pensive head doesn't really fit the model as a whole?)

Awwwww. That's a shame, I would have to sell my organs to be able to afford that cool looking Heavy.
