Pokemon Availability in Y

So I picked up Pokemon Y the other day, and haven't got very far into it yet. But given how this release has been heralded as something of a throwback to Gen I (in a good way, getting the Kanto starters and such), I was wondering about the presence of a couple of my favourite pokemon in Y. Namely Electabuzz and Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite. I'v failed to discover whether they are in Y by simple Googling, so I thought I'd ask and hope someone whose played further than me knows.

So are these two in the game? And if so how soon do can you catch them, and where?

Dratini is available on Route 21. Electabuzz is available in the friend safari.

Much like in gen 1, there is a section before the second gym wherein you must find a Pokemon Flute to awaken a sleepy Snorlax. Unlike past gens though, this one is easier to catch as it can't use "Sleep". I also want to mention how great it is that on gameFAQ everyone seemed to be talking exclusively about Pokemon X then turned around and bought Y. Shows up in my streetpass hits too.

I thought it might be easier to tag along than to make a new thread so...

I'm missing 2 of my favorite Pokemon, the first one being Lucario and 2nd one Zoroark, so in Y how do I get Riolu and Zoroa?

Riolu is on route 22. That said, I later found you outright get given a Lucario later in the game, but I'm still glad I raised my own. Evolved it with friendship is what I did >_>

OT: I'm looking for a Beldum/Metang/Metagross etc. It's my understanding Metang can appear in Friend Safari. If anyone has him in theirs, or knows anyone who does, let me know.

Well, I don't know about Zoroark, but I was able to catch 3 Riolu on Route 22 outside Santalune City on my copy of Y... My Bunnelby found me a couple of Great Balls and an Ultra Ball, so I was able to catch them before even facing the first Gym...

I also heard that one of the later Gym Leaders gives you a Lucario, but I haven't reached that Gym yet...

That kinda hilarious, considering how I mostly hear more about X than Y...

OT: So far, I mostly see encounter rate differences between X and Y... Other than that, if you're playing both, your Safari Type will be different...

That's... something...

You can find wild Zoroarks on Route 20 and in the pokemon village, or trade for one.

Question... I've been looking, and can't find a list of the differences between what can be caught in X and Y, as there usually is between the two (aside from the obvious). Is there a list out yet?

Don't know how accurate/complete it is, but here.

Thankya. I always buy depending on which has more Pokemon I prefer, as do most, I expect.

Now... to continue trying to justify buying a 3DS when we can barely pay the bills...

I've met more people with X than Y actually, but the numbers are fairly even at this point.

Now I can't wait to get myself a Dratini.

X and Y really want me to have no money.

$40 cheaper and comes without the gimmicky, battery decimating 3D. I got one and so far do not have a single complaint.

I've considered the 2DS. Thing is, I'm the one who earns the income... so if I want a 3DS, I can buy it.. just means money's tight for a while. I keep hoping the WiiU will announce it will add an online store for 3DS games that you can play on your TV... because I'd throw all my money at it if they did that.
