A friend of mine and myself are both well in our twenties and still enjoy pokemon games.
Back when Red and Blue first were released I actually managed to get all 150 of the little creepers. which made me proud in a nerdy kinda way.

Several years later and due to a miss communitarian we both have pokemon Soulsilver and have battled, traded and battled again multiple times on the generation IV remakes.

We both figured we'd get B&W soon, and after looking at the new pokemon I must say there are some awesome new guys in there. But I don't want to derail this topic into a new-pokemon-suck thread.

But... 50 Euro's is a lot of money and I'm not the kind of person that can toss cash away like a gangsta rapper does.
So, as a Pokemon fan, does Black and White improve upon the already awesome SoulSilver?
And as a side question, beside trading can you catch the old Generation IV pokemon in B&W?

After you beat the Elite 4 you can get the old pokemon, and it also works like that frenzy system in the Gen 4 games where a certain species shows up on one particular route and then the next day it is a different species on a different route, always random.

Also I still kinda prefered HGSS more because A: The pokemon Followed you. WHICH I FOUND AWESOME. and B: it was the remake of the best generation. WHICH I FOUND AWESOME.
50Euros does sound like a bit much because I got my copy of Black for $35 at Walmart. But the game is still pretty good. Plus I find the Dream World Worth using because you can get Pokemon with sweet abilities there.
Eggxecutor + Harvest + Lum Berry + Toxic + Rest = Cheap tactic. Very Very Cheap tactic.

Hmm. In some respects, it takes steps back from Soul Silver.
For instance, there's no Pokemon following you around, and the menu system is vile in comparison to the stellar one in Soul Silver.

But for 40 yoor-owes?
Yeah go for it mate; it's a very enjoyable game, trust me:].

Black and White has its moments, but I found Soul Silver to be way better. Probably in every way. And seriously, having a Pokemon follow you around is awesome!

Black/White is an improvement in almost every way over HGSS. The only thing is that the menus are more annoying since they're no longer just always on the bottom screen.

Well, I think I'm going to get it, now.

and I'm going with White.
Which is obviously a sub conscience racist move and has nothing at all to do with:

While I seriously doubt you can give me a answer, if I didn't ask it I'll never know.
Do you think Nintendo will release a Pokemon Stadium type game for the wii that supports B&W?
And I mean something better then Pokémon Battle Revolution, that supposedly sucks more then a black hole.

I was so mad as a child when I found out doing that didn't give me a Mew :(

But you'll love Black and White. They're getting steadily better since Gen 3, Gen 2 was still my favourite overall though but that might just be nostalgia talking.
