So my sister left her pokewalker in a coat pocket, that got Washed!
(did NOT go through the dryer though)
and the entire screen was filled with water. 8p
I would not turn on, or do anything;

so I Unscrewed the back and, no water came out, Removed the battery, still nothing...
hit some buttons (to see if the water would leak out.)
no luck...

... So I just left it alone (open).

...then a few days later all the water Drained out, and it worked fine!
It did not even reset! the pokemon was still there, and had a bunch more watts!!!

Although, I DO NOT recremend this as a way to boost your pokemon'z EXP...

I've never had a Nintendo product fail on me. My DS has taken some punishment and there's only a few scratches on the case to tell the tale.

My brother left his SP on the hood of my mom's car, and she drove with it on the hood. It actually flew off the car and into the woods. My dad managed to find it, and somehow it worked just fine.

It was in a case, but still, it wasn't exactly the best case ever.

Nintendo products, although of questionable entertainment value occasionally, are absolute tanks.

If I recall, our DS has been dropped numerous times into varying items. (Hardwood floor, dog dish, etc)

That is one of the coolest things I've seen all day.

My DS broke and I didn't even play it for a few weeks. Wanted to turn it on to play some Pokemon, didn't turn on. :(

Tbh...if you put it in a water proof bag and put it through the washer thats a pretty cool way to get watts.

although leaving it directly like that is not a good way to get watts. if you wrapped it in a thin layer of bubble wrap then put it in a water proof bag youd be sorted

Yeah, I accidentally washed my Pokewalker, Dryer included. I got it out, and it didn't turn on. Then, I unscrewed the back, took out the battery, put it all back, and it was working. I had even gotten a free Mahcop. =D

As for other Nintendo systems, I had gatorade get into my DS, and it completely died. I've also dropped it in a bathtub, and it survived. Not to mention I've dropped it soo many times I'm amazed it still works.

Somehow though, every DS I own has one of the shoulder buttons fail within a year of getting it.

I also had my Wii break. It just froze upon loading something, and completely crashed after that. It wouldn't load any more. So I had to send it in, and they just sent me a whole new Wii. It pissed me off, because they didn't bother moving any of my data over.

I still wouldn't use this as a source of watts unless it's in a water-tight container.
