Poll: A Hunger For Blood

I love vampires. But after watching Season One of True Blood last night, I've felt very disappointed. Why is there a lack of awesome shows about these awesome creatures? Same with werewolves, my absolute favorite. So sad. Am I the only one who feels this way? Or is there some great series I've missed out on? And what makes it different from the rest?

Out of all I've seen, the only one I just really, really liked was Kindred: The Embraced, though watching it recently I've noticed how dated it feels. Still the best though, which doesn't say a lot for all these newer series.

Angel. It was the non emo version of Buffy. Buffy was always either relationship bullshit or crying. Angel at least had decent humour.

I pic none of these options, becasue Hellsing is not on there. Other than that series, I could never get into the vampire thing. I like vampires, I think they're cool. It's just that most vampire stories come out as homoerotic love stories. Granted, I liked Buffy a little, but i only ever watched it with my dad, because he was really into it. Willow was hot.

I can see why but after watching Cruel Intentions, I've liked Sarah Michelle Gellar. (Just to clear things on that one, I do have a sister.)

Also I never watched Angel a lot, I saw it as just a spin-off from a dying series so I never really gave it a chance.

So is combining WWII with FPS, doesn't mean CoD:WaW isn't a good game.

As for the poll, I'm sad to say the majority of my vampire viewing comes from the big screen, not the silver one.
