Poll: A "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" movie?

The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is the closest thing Disney has ever been to publishing a graphic novel.
The story follows the main events of Scrooge's life between 1877 and 1947.
It involves his childhood in Scotland, him traveling the world and important historical events like the Klondike Gold Rush.
He also meets many famous historical figures.
Note that Scrooge McDuck died in 1967, at the age of 100 years old.

The movie would be proper animation, not that 3D-stuff everyone seems to use nowadays.
This story would be perfect for the big screen.
It has adventure, romance, comedy and a good morale. Hell, even guns!
And a ten year old Donald Duck

As a Scotsman I'd approve of a good old 2D movie from Disney about the life of Scrooge McDuck from his humble Dismal Downs in Glasgow all the way to Duckburg.
It'll be all the good writing of the series with some drama since......well he's had some not-so-proud moments in his life.

Oh, and that is my favorite parts. Scrooge McDuck is a wonderfully complex character.

I'd watch it. Scrooge has always been my favorite.

Sounds good to me. I pretty much hated Donald growing up, but I couldn't get enough of Duck Tales. It had a good mix of the slapstick cartoons are known for, and an action-adventure element that most probably wouldn't expect to see in a show about anthropomorphic ducks.

Just be aware that this movie would be quite a bit darker than Duck Tales, as Scrooge did a few horrible things to earn his fortune.
