Poll: Alien vs. Predator

Yes, I know there was a movie with both of them fighting. Now who is the most badass and strongest. The most badass to me would be the Aliens because they have acid for blood, they don't have eyes but they can still tell were they are and who to attack, they have to mouths, their tails ar more deadly than Kill Bill, and they are really intelligent to create a ship to get them around the cosmos. (Their also extremely fast)

The Predators have many gadgets such as blades, a strong defensive suit of armor, a bomb on their arm, and a thermal sight in their helmets. Their also more intelligent and civilized than the Aliens.

The Xenomorphs (Aliens) never created a ship. They were transported to Earth by the Yautja (predators)to use for hunting targets.

Alien is a safe bet considering they are both Alien's. Joking aside I never watched those movies much, but I would say Predators.

Predator, easy. They go on random hunting parties of five or less and slaughter the Aliens by the truckloads in all the extended fiction. The more adept they are, the less tech they use and the ultimate challenge is for a lone Yautja to take down an Alien Queen with wristblades only. It has been done.

Depends on the situation. If a Predator and Alien thug it out in an arena, it would be the alien provided the Pred has none of its ranged weaponry.

Predators have a socialistic restriction on what they're allowed to use/do. You've only ever seen them hunting. The equivalent of a man using a bow to hunt deer versus having machine guns, tanks, nuclear bombs used to kill in a war.

One, ONE, predator is able to hunt men in a city continuously, decapitate/skin/flay/hang his victims and remain undetected.

AvP 1: You saw three children who've never fought a particular opponent with MAYBE rumors to help them who may or may not have been breed/genetically engineered as the perfect prey capable of killing themselves all for the thrill of the hunt. And the entire ritual wasn't set in motion as it was intended.

As much as I like the aliens, the predators are much more badass
They hunt for the fun of it, and will remove all of their safety gear to make the fight more entertaining (Due to fairness and honor etc...)
Aliens are just savage highly evolved beasts that plant their young into you, predators have style

The Predator can bend light and has mad as wrist blades. And a shit-tonne of other weapons. The Xenomorphs are all right, but not as cool or as intimidating.

I honestly don't get why the preadtors are so weak in the AvP movies, predators can take a 12 gauge in the stomach and just shrug it off where as aliens will have their heads split open by it (one could argue different ammunition and load size, although both are 12 gauge).

Canonically, the Predator aliens hunt and kill Aliens for sport and as a right of passage for young Predators. In fact, they went as far as to plant a Queen in the center of the Earth so that she could continually produce game for them to hunt. With this in mind, I would think Predator comes out on top. I don't really like them all that much, though. They've always seemed cheesy and boring to me.

The Alien (Xenomorph) will generally only kill if it is attacked or is threatened otherwise it will capture you so you can be an incubator for a new Xeno.

Also Preds kick all kind of ass!

Adaptable, acid for blood, sneaky, sturdy, and capable of rapidly breeding if hosts are available.

Predators:

Interstellar spacecraft and small, portable fusion bombs.


Seriously- blades, plasmacasters, chameleon fields...Aliens never. Ever. Get the ability to build spacecraft or weapons which have a blast radius the size of several city blocks that are the size of a deck of cards.

No matter how individually impressive a Xenomorph is, it lacks a certain...something.

Like the ability to nuke a planet to steaming glass.

I could be completely missing something, but I think he's talking about the alien in the AvP movie that got a grid pattern burned into its face. That one wasn't a queen and it did fuck up some predators.
