I'm a fanboy over many things but most obviously my avatar. Pre-Crystal dynamics Tombraider mind.

console, i am a PC and PS3 gamer, i like the concept of the xbox, however my reason for not getting it was my refusal to pay for online gameplay, i think it should be free, and PSN provided that.

games, although i am a fan of certain games and series, i can admit when they have let me down. new vegas i admit is not as good (in my eyes) as fallout 3, and quite frankly although i enjoyed it, god of war 3 had little replay value to me, and was slightly disappointing in terms of length.

in short, i wouldn't call myself a fanboy, i would say i have preferences and reasons for my choices, but i wouldn't defend them to the ends of the earth

I'm perhaps the most schizophrenic fanboy ever.... Every game I like has at one point been the "best game evar" to me. In all the franchises I've played more than one game of, I know which one is the best... to me. Zelda: Majora's Mask, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Halo 2, Super Mario World, and Starcraft 2, although the last one will most likely change depending on the next two campaigns. But I won't be above trying more in the franchises and I won't go around saying it without being able to state why it is to me or respecting that you disagree with me. We can't all agree all of the time and there isn't a reason to. I don't like the PS3 for a few reasons but I'm not above saying its possibly the best console out there. I just don't care for it for my gaming needs and I really don't care about blu-ray.... and it can't play Majora's Mask with a N64 controller yet.

Normally I'm pretty good at looking at all everything on an equal footing, and not going out of my way to promote one thing over another shamelessly, though I do find myself getting borderline on the entire Monster Hunter series though it's usually in efforts clarify the so-called control and camera issues. Still, I stay pretty rational about the entire thing.

... but then I have to admit that the entire reason I won't play Dissidia: Final Fantasy is because Celes isn't in it.

So yeah. I'm a fanboy.

Like you, I am a big fan of Halo 2. I also love Bioshock, Fallout and Oblivion, my Xbox 360 and games made by Valve. However I am accepting of other people's opinions and don't care if they think otherwise.

Heaaalllll, yeah. You start dissing Valve, then you best either have a strong argument, or a strong skull, because I will beat sense into you if you don't like it.

Not really, but if Valve publishes it, chances are, I'm buying it. If you don't want to, that's cool... I guess.

Yeah, I used to be, but the company I fanboyed over decided it would rather entertain shooter gamers who had never bought one of their games before rather than giving much attention to what I loved about their games.

Nintendo. The franchise can keep making respawns and respawns of old games with only the slightest tweak and I'll still love the company forever.

I'm also a bit of a little big planet fangirl.

I'm a big Bioware fanboy, they have yet to make a bad game in my opinion. But if other people don't like them I don't care.
