I don't mean in the sense that you haven't seen your mates in a couple days I mean in the sense of are you lonely?

Do you feel like you don't have anyone you can turn to like family or friends? Or don't have anyone close to you who you can just go see and enjoy yourself with? Or do you not mind be alone a lot? Or some other explicable reason?

Wondering because for some reason I sometimes I feel alone. I don't know why because I have great group of friends and family, etc. But I can sometimes find myself telling myself I am alone and I dunno why. Ever experienced sometihng like this, and what do you do to cope? Or are you actually alone? Do you care?

... Incidentally, how many of you prefer to watch tv/movies, listen to music, play games alone? (not related to poll just answer in a post)

I prefer being alone because I'm the only one who understands me enough.
Even I don't understand myself fully, but somebody else couldn't hope to.
I help myself with my problems, I don't need anyone other than me.

I like alone... Alone is good. No one to give rational feedback to crazy plans. I like it.

For the most part, I'm alright with being on my own. I'm comfortable with myself and my life (for the most part), and I have enough to do to keep myself busy. People for the most part tend to annoy or frustrate me, so I have no burning desire to go mingle in a crowd. But there have been times where things really get down, and I don't have many people I can really turn to. I live about 2000 miles from most of my family. I have a couple good friends, but only one even somewhat nearby. It can be tough lately because I lost my job and I've been struggling with ways to pay for my own education. Having to sacrifice going to the school you want because you can't afford it can be tough, especially when it comes on the heels of losing your dream job because of an injury. And then, not having anyone around to confide in makes it hard sometimes.

But for the most part, I deal. As I said, I like being on my own. It's only on a few occasions when things get really rough that I miss having my family or close friends around. Most of the time, I'm quite happy with my situation. There's a certain freedom to being able to do what you want when you want without having to answer to anyone else.

I'm never alone... I always have 02-07 with me... 01 is dead, though.
So I'm never alone anywhere. I have my... 'Friends'

I'm not, I have good friends and all, but sometimes I do feel alone.

I suppose we all do sometimes.

I'm the same in some ways. I'm comfortable being alone and around people too. Sucks, for lack of a better word, about your job but yeah I suppose I might not have it as rough as you in a lot of other ways. At least you're not chucking in the towel though.
And I've always wanted to live on my own..

Ehhh... I have enough friends that I hang out with.
In some ways I feel lonely, but I know that I'm not.

Every single day. My family is great and very supportive, but although they mean well, going to them with my problems often just makes me feel worse.

Wow, that was so emo that I'm going to cut my eyeballs out.

OT: I'm never alone... No seriously, one minute, it's my fucking friends ringing the doorbell, the next, my sister being an A-hole.

Can't I just have a minute to myself?
