just a random question...which did you prefer?

Assassins creed 3 is making itself out to be an "actual" sequel, which makes me think of the other two "filler" games, which most people say arn't quite as good (but by no means bad) due to the obvious fact it seems hard to maintain quality (and excitement) with a one game a year release schedule

generally people usually say Brotherhood is the better of the two, which I guess is understandable....

but personally I actually prefer revelations, mainly due to the fact that its something different

sure, its got more crap thrown in for good measure and the interesting story takes a back seat with the usual templar/assasin fights...while Ezio is running around trying to get it on with a women who seems young enough to be his daughter, but I kind of liked seeing an older Ezio and also revisiting Altiar's memory's (since we havnt seen the guy since AC1)

Brotherhood..while it was cool seeing Ezio take on the order.. with the beard...it really just felt unessicary like I'd done this all before (oh wait..AC2) and a small nitpick being that his outfit was just a little too elaborate for my tastes which kind of affected the suspension of disbelief....

well I mean look at it.

I can't exactly remember the exact plot details...but its like "hey Ezio...how did sparing that borgia guy work out for you?...not well?..."

so what do you think?

anyway on an unrelated note I am cautiously optimistic about Assasins creed 3

Brotherhood. By the time it rolled around, I wasn't yet bored of the AC format of games. Then revelations turned up and did the exact fucking thing a fourth fucking time.

Revelations was better design wise, but lacked story-wise. Brotherhood was the complete opposite.

Rome was tedious to navigate into and the dungeons were the most boring. Revelations? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better dungeons. Those Altaïr memories were also great. However, lack of those fun DNA puzzles. Oh yeah... Ubisoft made ok Desmond sections at best, but they really missed their shot to make him a likeable lead.

I guess I preferred Brotherhood, if only because it came first and therefore wasn't quite as stale.

Honestly, neither of them exactly set my world afire.

Although for some reason I still feel oh-so-slightly excited for AC3. Apparently Ubisoft's marketing team knows their stuff.
