In the popular anime series "Attack on Titan", humanity, after having known 100 years of peace, is beset by endless waves of human-eating giants known as Titans. The walls that once defended us are breached and now it's all-out war to prevent our species' extinction.
Fighting this war, naturally, is the military of this world, which is divided into three distinct groups:
The Military Police, whose main task is to guard the lands of the innermost walls and the royal family. Because of their distance from the fight, they're the least adept at fighting titans, and have been known to be a corrupt organisation as well as, apathetic to the plights of those beyond their territory. However, they do live far more comfortable and safe lives than those serving in the other divisions.
The Garrison Corps, whose role it is to man the walls and serve as the primary line of defense against the titans, keeping them out and fighting them if they manage to get into populated areas. Although initially inexperienced at fighting titans thanks to the 100-year-peace, they've since proved capable of holding their own in a fight against them. They are the largest of the three groups in terms of numbers.
The Survey Corps (also known as the Scouts), whose duty it is to go beyond the safety of the walls and into titan-controlled territory. They're the ones who take the fight to the titans out in the field, and as such are made of the best of the best in terms of fighting ability. Although easily the most capable group in terms of killing titans, the danger of their work means that they are the smallest of the groups, with most of their missions resulting in massive casualties each time.
So, of the three, which would you choose to join, if you had the choice? And why?
