I was assuming we were doing just kids shows but since you mentioned it: Archer to the umpteenth degree.

MLP is pretty good though as is Adventure Time, although I mostly like Adventure Time because the Dog has the same voice actor as Bender Bending Rodriguez. :p

I'd say Avatar: The Last Airbender was the last kid's animated show that I throughly enjoyed but that's hardly recent.

My vote goes to Adventure Time, which I don't feel really needs explaining.
As for My Little Pony, I haven't watched it and I refuse to because I know damn well there's a good chance I'll really like it, and I feel ostracized for my interests enough in real life as it is.

Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt was quite a surprise from 2010. Stands out amongst the other releases at that time :p I consider it sort of a guilty pleasure -_-

I actually really like Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents...
I used to love those shows (if Spongebob's on I'll watch it) but I think his point was cartoons of the last two years or so :p

My Little Pony for me, but I really want to watch Adventure Time. I saw the pilot episode before they went on TV and I loved it, but I don't know where to watch it.

There are too many to choose from. Between the wildly imaginative Adventure Time, the surprisingly lovable My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the insane mindfuck Regular Show, Dan Vs., a show about a short-fused midget engaging in fisticuffs with everyone and their grandmother, the second second season of Wakfu, a beautiful show that has been referred by some as "France's Avatar: The Last Airbender", and the breakneck paced bloodbath second season of Superjail!, playing favorites seems next to impossible. It's been a wonderful year for cartoons, even with shit like MAD and Problem Solverz. But on merit and being of consistent quality, MLP.

I really need to get on Archer because I have heard nothing but praise for it.

EDIT: FUCK TO THE YES THEY HAVE SEASON ONE ON STREAM ON NETFLIX

How has no one said Phineas and Ferb yet? That's easily the best cartoon since Invader Zim.

There's a lot. Phineas and Ferb, MLP, Adventure Time, Young Justice, Ben 10....

It's a good time to be a cartoon fan, as long as you have the right channels. :D

I still get caught up in an episode of A:TLA. Can't wait for the continuing season.

Archer is awesome. Same with Venture Brothers. Some of my favorite cartoons out now.
QFT. I love Archer. The Second season has been a little iffy, but it's getting back on track. All my friends and I have done nothing but quote the first season. So fun. "Your authority is not recognized in Fort Kickass"

Yes, he totally would. So long as no one drops the burgers, because that's how you get ants.

My Little Pony, followed by Adventure Time...

There's all kinds of great shows out there now...

Actually there was a new avenges show on one of the channels that I really liked. Maybe I'm just biased for superhero shows though. As for that nightmare fuel abstract horror that you listed from CN(not all of the shows, just a few on that list)... No, shame on you, go sit in the corner.

I'm gonna have to go with Johnny Bravo (Hoo Hah!) or courage the cowardly dog. Because they are timeless, that makes them recent as well as classic.

I don't watch many western cartoons any more, but when I do it's MLP.
I do watch a few shows with my little brother, though. I've seen a few episodes of Adventure Time and The Regular Show and they were alright, but MAD has to be one of the worst cartoons I've seen in a while.
I mostly just stick with anime.

Wakfu. Beautiful flash animation, very good villain, imaginative world, perfectly built team-chemistry and an awesome non-annoying child protagonist, all rolled into one. Watch Wakfu, seriously.
