You misspelled daleks.

Anyway, I would probably have to go with SHODAN in the end.

How can you say no to that face?

Really, though, they aren't my robot overlords. They're my protectors.

I chose Bender, as if he ever becomes more of an ass than he already is; then I could just easily take over with a group of angry villagers.

Bender. At least he'd be too blitzed to tell if we're there or not, so everything will be business as usual

Google's policy is "Don't be evil."

Sound like pretty good overlords right there.

Also, Google kind of already has the world in the palm of its giant, computerized hand. May as well make it official.

First off OP, it Daleks, not Darleks. No "r" in the name. And technically speaking, they aren't robots in the sense that you are thinking. They are organic creatures in a a bonded polycarbide (Dalekanium) Mark III travel machine. The two factions during the Dalek civil war were the Renegades (able to leave their travel machines if they for some strange reason wanted to), and the Imperials (grafted to the travel machines, i.e. Cyborgs). EDIT2: Post Time War Daleks are also grafted to their machines, so they too are cyborgs.

Sorry, but I'm a massive Doctor Who fan.

Anyway, that said, I don't think I would serve the Daleks because if they don't exterminate any non-Dalek lifeform instantly, they use them as slaves until their usefulness has ended. So you die either way.

My choice? Probably Bender.

EDIT: Just for fun.

I'll go with the Matrix. If I learnt to manipulate it...

CABAL would be cool, if a little evil.

From Command & Conquer? That CABAL? ...I dunno, it doesn't seem llike overlord material.

On-topic: I vote for GLaDOS. I mean-- she has Ellen McLain's voice.

I'm gonna go with the Matrix. Bad as it is to be forced into that sort of thing, you don't really realize it unless you are somehow chosen as a savior for the human race or something.

Bender is my dream overlord, but I can't do anything about that here in the Matrix, can I?
