Poll: crispy or chewy bacon

i've had an ongoing debate with my girlfriend as to which is better, so im turning to the most reliable source the internet!

Chewy, with the fat intact. Crispy has a tendency to lose flavor, and is generally unpleasant to eat (especially if charred, like some people like it).

My opinion, of course.

I like it so black I can use it as charcoal. It grosses my 'chewy camp' family out.

Why yes I do lack taste. :3 I also don't eat bacon much, too fatty.
Rather sacrifice that daily intake of fat for something like...noodles, or stuff I actually really like.

Chewy bacon = great bacon. Crispy bacon reminds me of burnt bacon.

Bacon is bacon. It's impossible to hate it if you try it. I don't think a simple factor like this will keep you from taking the whole tray in the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet.

Chewy, but not underdone. Really a mix between the two.
And lightly sugared while cooking.
And with mayonnaise and lettuce.
On white bread.
Without crusts.

I cook my bacon in the middle. It is just slightly crispy and slightly chewy. It is really an art in cooking to get it perfect.
