So, since the Escapist usually seems to be pretty open minded, I think I'll ask about this.
Have you, ever, crosdressed? When? Why or why not? What are your views on it?

To open conversation, I'd like to say that my first experience with it was in Drama Club in High School. While I figured it'd be embarrassing, everyone else in the troupe, and many from other troupes (our play ended up going to the International Thespian Festival) said that it took real guts, and I got quite a bit of respect for it.

I had actually kind of enjoyed the experience.

Since then, I've dabbled with it. Halloween was fun...it actually ended with me getting my current girlfriend...

Also, for the purposes of discussion, I'd like to add that some odd 80% of male crossdressers are actually hetero, so any gay-bashing will NOT be tolerated.

I haven't. I think it would be a fun thing to do, but I've never had the opportunity to do it.

I have no problem with people who do.

No, but I like traps. Some of them are even hotter than the chicks around them. Also, I'm straight.

I got really trashed and passed out for a good hour, hour and a half in the bathroom. My buddy's sisters and his girlfriend applied makeup to me. Then nobody bothered to tell me that I was wearing makeup for the rest of the night.

Nope, and I rather doubt I ever will. Partly due to self-consciousness, mostly due to the fact that I genuinely would look absolutely ridiculous.

Now, if I needed to look absolutely ridiculous for whatever reason (I dunno...acting, or Sailor Bluto cosplay, or something), that would be a different story.

dressing as a woman doesn't appeal to me... and I've got hairy legs... but eh, whatever does it for ya.

I think once when I was 2 I found a dress and put it on top of my normal clothes for about a minute before I decided it was uncomfortable. Does that count?

Yes, and you have to live with that for the rest of your life.

I'd do it in a heartbeat if I had a body to pull it off. But as of now I'll stick to a few times in the future.

Yes! Go thespians :) Anyway, I recall being in a dress most of my sophomore year. I was even the lipstick character in our cross-dressed skit for the thespian lock-in. And i've willingly gotten all dressed up for any number of dares and on rare occasion just because there was a dress lying around.

Dresses/skirts are so effing comfortable (unlike essentially every other article of women's clothing). It completely redefines freeballin' I tell you!

I did it once for my Alma Maters production of A Midsummer Nights Dream. We were doing the old "Shakespearean dialogue/modern look" shtick with ours, which led me to my first, last, and only experience cross dressing in my role as Flute/Thisbe. Let me tell you: I gained a new respect for women in high heels. Ouch!

For Halloween I dressed as a school girl, wearing tights, make-up and a skirt - my ponytailed long hair is my own however. This picture is quite hard to make out what I am meant to be however.

I'm glad you didn't take that seriously :)

(Better edit some text into that post quick, if you have only a picture with no text, it's considered a low content post and could get you a probation)

How do people remember stuff from those ages :s

Hmm crossdressing. No don't think so, wouldn't like to do it but am curious what I'd look like lol. When me and my gf were together not long into the relationship, she took all my clothes and put them on.. it was quite odd but of course it's a bit different to a dress and make-up.

Sadly enough I get mistaken for a female quite a bit, personally I don't see it. Some people can only tell what gender others are by hair length. The best one was on a bus on a night-time, one drunk with his mates at the back called out "hey sexy", as I turned around his mates started rippin into him.
