Poll: Customised files in PC games.

I've just played my first match of left 4 dead with the sound pack from This Youtube video [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcT1StlALaM], It certainly makes things more interesting.

You can do it in most any game out there, but one thing I've discovered; If you can't mod a game, it sucks balls. FarCry 2 being a rather large example.


Moddable games have the ability to be more unique, and have different experiences even though often it can still be the same game.

I agree modding can really help a game last. It always helps to have it as an option, but it shouldn't mean that developers can release half-finished games.

-and it's true, even the crappiest of games become awesome with mods. (Mount and Blade anyone?)
